What's going on with Harry Wellford? Not on the UVA Roster...

Didn’t appear to be with the team when I saw them early in fall ball. Saw this on Lacrosse Commits twitter a while back:

Notable D1 players that have hit the transfer market this fall.

Harry Wellford - Virginia
James Forkin - Syracuse
Jesse West - Lehigh
Spencer Knife - Towson
Aidan Johnston - Michigan
Griffin Gelinas - Michigan

I don’t know if Wellford was ever enrolled at UVA.

If James Forkin is the guy who used to be known as JT Forkin,it would be impossible to imagine Desko would welcome him back. ADDENDUM:I should have looked at the SU roster.There are zero Forkins on the roster.

Is he? What is the basis for your comment? How did it work out for him at NCCC? You do know the latest,don't you?

Based on his play in HS and then his limited play at SU. I see he's not on the roster at NCCC. What happened?

Forkin is an interesting case. If he lands somewhere at a 4-year school that would be great. It looks like he was at NCCC in 2016 and did well. He was listed as a sophomore then. He may have played in SU's alumni game as a 2018 alum.

SU fans liked Forkin's play in the little time he got. I remember watching him in the UAAA game and he looked like a cold blooded shooter.

I am surprised/confused to see your post on the UVA thread.They aren't scheduled to play each other this year.Tough to improve on a 13-5 season.I'll be watching...closely.

Bo Moore, AA UVA goalie who starred in the pre-NCAA era, has died at 86 according to the lead obituary in this morning’s Sun. After UVA, he had a distinguished career in business in Baltimore. Condolences to his family.
Followers of the UVA thread on LP will recall his son, a Dartmouth grad whose posts are routinely clear, cogent, and reasonable.

1st lines against Loyola. How will D an LSM shake in transition? Conrad and who on wings?
Interested in reserve depth in game 2 vs. Lynchburg, who I suspect will give em all they can handle.

There are now posts on the Sabre. Pretty positive results for us. Won 13-10, but they scored 2 late, meaningless goals.
