I agree with Lax247. NU will go 12-0 and Scane is gonna have A monster year .JoeMauer89 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 8:52 pmZilch, the Big Ten is a grind, and I mean GRIND. They will drop a game, and it will make them better for it!

Scane will definitely have a monster year, but I see 11-1, with one loss to UMD in the regular season when they can afford it!Laxfan500 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:53 pmI agree with Lax247. I could see them losing a game, but I DON'T think it will be to MD. Not because the Terps won't play a great game, but because that's the ONLY opponent on the 12-game schedule where NU will still feel like they have something to prove. Sure NU will get everyone's best game, but MD will absolutely get NU's best game and NU is the better team this year. I can see them getting a little too comfortable and dropping one to Michigan late in the season.

Can’t disagree with anything you wrote. Great scenario, too! I hope it happens as you say. I just Love seeing Maryland lose.laxagainsthumanity wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 11:37 am I could see them losing a game, but I DON'T think it will be to MD. Is Casey Powell back with the team?

Question for all the Wildcat detractors: How was your crow this weekend?

Final score was 19-4. That was all the refs? Please.

Re: Northwestern 2021
It was not all the refs. Denver ate their own crow with sloppy play and turnovers-you can’t win even against a bad team turning the ball over like that. Plus Denver is terrible at the draw. It’ll be interesting to see if Maddie jenner and Duke bring their A game.
Re: Northwestern 2021
I think the Duke game will not be close. Jenner will win her fair share, but I think Cronin going down really hurts them offensively.laxinforlife wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 9:10 am It was not all the refs. Jenner is ineffective on the draw unless she wins it to herself. NU draw takers and circle players are quick to the ball. Advantage NU.

Now that you say that, it makes sense. I was noticing that yesterday.watcherinthewoods wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 3:02 pm Jenner is ineffective on the draw unless she wins it to herself. NU draw takers and circle players are quick to the ball. Advantage NU.

I get Jenner is an asset because of her height. But does nobody else think sh is super slow? And kind of awkward on offense?
Re: Northwestern 2021
She does win a lot of draws, though. 180 in 18 games ain't too shabby. Not that it will make a difference against the locomotive that is the Wildcat offense this year. They'll get bulldozed Saturday.watcherinthewoods wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 3:02 pm Jenner is ineffective on the draw unless she wins it to herself. Re: Northwestern 2021
oh boy...don't think I would categorize her as super fast but "super slow"? I would suggest you watch the Notre Dame ACC Tournament game...25 total goals in this years environment is not awkward to me.Cagekeeper wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 10:15 pm I get Jenner is an asset because of her height. Re: Northwestern 2021
I don't think Jenner is super slow but I do think she looks it because she's so tall. I had a teammate in college who was pretty much the exact same speed as me (both in the top 5 or so sprinters on our team) and she was 6'1 to my 5'4. I took about 3 strides to every 1 of hers which always made her look slower than she was.
