This game appears to be on ESPN+.

This is one of the primo matches of the year. They could well meet again in the semifinals or the final in The Tournament. Wow! I’ll be popping the popcorn for this one!

Nothing to see here...move along....Cuse is already given the game, why, because they are Cuse.

My recollection is -- and my recollection, like me, is dim -- that Loyola has a pretty good team, four 40+ goal scorers (Livy, No. 7, No. 13, No. 24), a talented freshman, now a sophomore, and a pretty fair defense with a couple of AA caliber defenders. So the Cuse kids better not get a buzz on the night before. I also recall that Loyola was pretty good on the draw, with some talented and fast kids on the circle.
Can't wait. Doc, grab the Tums; good luck.

Confirmed. Just saw it on their website.

No, really? Me? I'm just calling em as I see em. I dont care how much the press loves Loyola. They are flawed.....OK. guilty as charged
or as the witch says in MP Holy Grail, "it's a fair cop."

Gonna have to subscribe to ESPN+ for this one, don't want to miss it. $5.99/mo cancel anytime. Hell, you'd spend that in a bar in fifteen minutes and there aint much of that goin' on these days so count me in. Do me favor, Dr., make up a sign that says, ''HI D. MAC, WISH YOU WERE HERE" and hold it up for the cameras.
TIA

Feel bad for you (and me too), thankfully it's an era where you can still see the game on TV...not so much in the past.
Sure seems to me as if a few hundred people socially distanced could be permitted to attend with player's parents, brothers and sisters given priority. Oh well.
You would make me the sign with a big smiley face on it if you could go though, right?

Read that Cuse president is closing to announcing/deciding in favor of letting potentially a limit of up to 1,500 fans in the Carrier Dome. No date official on when that would start, but one would have to assume it would encompass a solid portion of lacrosse season. Fingers crossed!DMac wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:00 amFeel bad for you (and me too), thankfully it's an era where you can still see the game on TV...not so much in the past.

Sure makes sense to me. 2018, Maryland v Cuse in the Dome, huge game.
Attendance, 1590 (sad). Plenty of room for social distancing and covid
protocol there.

If I go, I will bring a sign....I think the solution could be just telling the parents/friends that they cant interact with the players or coaches. No post game meal/tailgate. I would be OK with that as we could still watch the game. That is also the day I am supposed to get my second Covid vaccine, so we will see what happens.DMac wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:00 amFeel bad for you (and me too), thankfully it's an era where you can still see the game on TV...not so much in the past.

I think it will be interesting to see in the early games the impact of limited practices or no practices during the fall will have on the games. I believe Loyola was on a pretty restricted practice schedule during fall.

Skill athleticism depth etc etc it's all there for Loyola, we know that. The Hounds had a little bit of magic last year, looking forward to seeing if they still have it.
