Not sure what OS's angle was, but his first two steps are pretty on point. Trump had full control over the media that one half of America consumes. He was able to jam through all his judicial appointments and R's have control of the judiciary.Matnum PI wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 7:16 pmTaking away trump's Social Media microphones isn't taking control of the media. Trump can’t twitter threat right now. WH staff can’t lean in, they’re half out the door. Leadership isn’t in position to pressure - a mob attacked while they were voting. Conservative media can’t use the tone they so often do. All institutional whip levers marginalized. A first.
For now it appears our system is resilient enough to survive him. We'll see how things play out...

Liz has the balls to vote against Trump; I'm skeptical Mitch does. But he's an idiot if he doesn't off Trump now that he finally has the chance.Mitch McConnell is now calling for impeachment! "Trump's actions are impeachable!"
Liz Cheney just came out for impeachment of DOPUS.
With Georgia, Trump torpedo-ed Mitch's majority leader job for no good reason. Also lost a win-able election for the WH, which means no more judges (Mitch's main reason for living). Then sent a bunch of armed thugs into Mitch's workplace endangering his life. Mitch's wife resigned from the Cabinet.
Would really make a lot of sense to get rid of Trump. Otherwise, Mitch will be stuck with Trump holding the GOP hostage for years in order to serve the interests of Trump and his spawn. Et tu, Mitch-te?
Boycott stupid. If you ignore the gator troll, eventually he'll just go back under his bridge.

Uh, no. Downtown Park on Broad Street in Southern Pines is not her kid’s playground. I’ve played there plenty of times with my grandkids. It’s a gated public playground. It’s also less than 20 minutes from Camp MacKall which is where she was probably working as she was assigned to her particular special ops group.old salt wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 10:35 pmRainey doesn't appear to be an out of control case like Babbitt. As an officer in the USA, particularly one selected to support the organization she did, she should have been a lot smarter than to break the law, and especially a law so politically sensitive, in the town abutting her assignment.
The adage “don’t poop where you eat” is appropriate.
Re: 2020 Elections - Led to Impeachment?
Do you know where she resides, with her kid, in relation to that playground ? She obviously chose to be an activist & pursue a political agenda over a career in the Army. I wonder if she's married to her baby-daddy who is also reportedly in the Army & if he's an officer ?SCLaxAttack wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 11:45 pmUh, no. As I linked a few days back, these dopes all had their phones on and the archived data from Parler confirms their locations inside the Capitol. Inn conjunction with cell tower data referenced in that article law enforcement can essentially track all of the phones in the building back to their owners
Stupid is as stupid does as they say.
Wait until the Feds discover which three members of Congress were in direct contact with rioter Ali Alexander during the event.
Many of them are headed to oblivion along with DOPUS. Sayonara.

I don’t care if she lives in the townhouses on South Ashe across the street from the swing sets. It’s not “her kid’s”. It’s a public park with rules. Good point about the child’s father. It won’t surprise me in the least. She obviously doesn’t care about rules, and If he’s in an ODA the odds are 11 of 12.
