Today’s scrimmage
Md 12 - MQ 5 through the first three quarters. Starting Attack looked to be Bernhardt, Fairman, Wisnauskas. Another guy would get switched in on Attack. Thinking it was Long. Believe Puglise got a goal in transition. Most goals scored by the three starters. Coffman got 3 goals.
Dolan started slow but came on strong
@ Georgetown next weekend- noon
Maryland 2019
Re: Maryland 2019
New rules. The shot clock seem to run as I thought it would. The game had to stop at least once because to clock got reset and should not have been reset. That took time to reset. Mq bench would make a loud noise whenever the clock was down to 15 seconds. It didn’t matter if they were on offense or defense
MD had two dive attempts. Believe Wisnauskas had the first and was disallowed and he didn’t get a penalty. Guess he didn’t make contact with the goalie. Bernhardt with the 2nd attempt. His goal was allowed
Side note - they have placed the Ladies lines on the field. Wish they would take the football line of the field

I don’t know. Terps don’t wear their correct numbers in scrimmages. For most part it is a guessing game unless a parent knows their kids number.nclaxin wrote:Did Brickerd get any PT?

How did Coffman score his goals? In transition?AreaLax wrote: Coffman got 3 goals.

Re: Maryland 2019
Reports have the Terps doing well in their scrimmage with Georgetown yesterday, winning 11-6.
Saturday the real season starts with Bucknell at 1pm.
The Terps' 3 February games are all scheduled to be shown on BTN2go:

The cost seems to be $9.95 to watch Terp content for a month on btn2go.

Re: Maryland 2019
Anyone know who started at attack pr who did well in the last scrimmage?
Re: Maryland 2019
Starting Bernhardt, Bubba, Wisnauskas. Another player would get switched in and he had a leg brace.
According to another site Goal scorers...Berhardt (4), DeMaio (2), Wisnauskas (1), Avanzato (I think it was him based on the reaction of the bench), Unidentified Midfielder (2).
I had these Midfield as Wilson and Coffman

I notice that Tillman just picked Puglise as one of the Terps' 3 players to watch this season.

I read over the new players coming and had to laugh about one of them. If only you guys knew what you were getting. This player was one of the laziest and most selfish players I (and others) knew. He got away with this behavior because his dad ran and owned the travel teams he played for. Of course he took all the shots and played as many positions and minutes his dad gave him. He wasn't all that great a lax hs player, given the fact he dropped a grade and basically played down his HS years. Just don't believe the hype when you read it.AreaLax wrote: ↑Mon Jan 28, 2019 9:54 am Maryland men’s lacrosse brings a young, talented roster into 2019

Well, I imagine that whoever you are referring to is working pretty hard to earn playing time with the Terps.

Re: Maryland 2019
Well bless your heart for sharing this insight. Very constructive. If you don't like the dad, ok. Hate the kid? Just let it play out. With the number of recruits in these classes, clearly not all are going to work out. Just let it play out. A lazy, selfish player (your words) isn't going to make it on any team, not just MD. No need to call a kid out. But this kind of post is in really poor taste, IMHO.Fanlax999 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 2:26 pmI read over the new players coming and had to laugh about one of them. ctbag, I tend to agree. When we were banging out the Forum Rules, not attacking kids was one of the first. (Are college kids kids? I'd have to look at the thread but, for now, let's call a freshman a kid.) To be fair, fan didn't say a name, I think he's speaking more to the macro-issue and this specific kid is an example, etc. With this said, ctbag, I, speaking as the Forum Referee, tend to agree. We should be careful.
Re: Maryland 2019
It is definitely not cool to bash a kid, and be so specific with details. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Time will tell. Lazy and selfish will not go over well at Maryland, or any other reputable program.

Sure wish he had chose Navy for football, then decided to play lacrosse.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.
