Amusingly enough, the Dixieland Sunoco station just over the line on 13 has put a white cover over the flag that was part of their sign. You can still see the flag at night through the white cover.
Although I have relatives who fought for the Confederacy I know what that flag was and is: an emblem of separation and division. Time for that nonsense to stop.
“SoMD” is Charles, Calvert and St Mary’s County.
