How would you guys feel if we lifted Max Rosa off you so he could play with his younger brother who's coming to Geneva next year?

Though as a football player he wouldn't qualify for the periodic threads on best names in lax, I think it would be remiss to let Duce Chestnut go by without some appreciative recognition.

Only matters how the student athlete feels but no unless Justin Scott is coming here . lol. Rosa will compete for a spot on our second line and could hit the field in some capacity in the not too distant future .

If you can clear his Visa issues and maybe co-sign on a car loan I’m sure you’d have a shot at Justin Scott.

The dad is a Hobart alum who played in that magnificent 4.20 (just for you Dmac) 1986 game. At least they’ll play against each other so Drypolcher can talk about it as nauseous during the Hobart game in two years.

In 2021, Syracuse looks to have all the pieces in place to finish what they started during the shortened 2020 season and make their first Championship Weekend appearance since 2013.

Syracuse attackman Stephen Rehfuss has just entered the transfer portal this morning, according to multiple sources. The redshirt 5th-year player led the Orange with 18 assists in 5 games last season.

Syracuse lacrosse player Stephen Rehfuss enters transfer portal, others may follow

https://www.syracuse.com/orangelacrosse ... ollow.html

According to Inside Lacrosse, some other SU players may soon be following a similar path. Citing unidentified sources, the publication reported that the players’ decision is part of an ongoing disciplinary appeals process resulting from an apparent violation of COVID-19 safety protocols.

That's rather disturbing to say the least. Thought for sure that the Orange would have a lineup the likes of which we have not seen since 1990. Let's hope all will be settled amicably before the season starts.

Update from Chris Jastrzembski

There are at least six other players also in the middle of the appeals process. Most of them midfielders with the majority of them on the offensive side of the ball.

Gotta love NYS and its narcissistic governor...Even the CDC has now said a 7 day quarantine period is sufficient. The hoop team had contact with a UB player and they are now in a 14 day quarantine??!! NYS says 14 days, CDC is okay with 7...so much for following the scientists, right Andrew! Oh, and the risk to college students is what, exactly? An appeals process for Covid violations? Holy draconian Batman!

Who knew licking salt off the tramps stamp of girls in black pants for Tequila shots at Syracuse Suds Factory would be such a big deal.

Geez, I dunno. Was hoping for a return of the good old days of Cuse lax. Let's hope this is just a minor set back and has no real impact on the squad's fortunes.

Don't know how much of it is related to Cuomo. Syracuse put into place some really stringent mask/social-distancing/anti-party rules into place for students. They were also one of the first schools to tie violations of their COVID policies to student misconduct processes. Not every school in NY does what Cuse does on that front.
