Yes...is it called spaghetti....I haven’t paid much attention to the UW model. Maybe once every couple of months when I hear chatter here....I have been looking at models for years. I have learned to be ok with directionally accurate and have structured around the assumption that models won’t be “accurate”. I thought about your NIH dilemma a couple of hours ago. If it gets back on track, let me know. I remembered that a student that my wife had as a summer intern in her lab (lived down the street) is working there now. I will make sure she buys him lunch. It’s a small world. Always good for young people to talk to people.

no, rrr, I simply don't care that much about 'proving' to you or anyone else when my opinion 'proves' to be accurate. I think it will happen, in some form, because that's what press secretaries do, and that's what the press do. I explained my view further as to why it just doesn't make sense not to clean it up at some point. Heck, they may already have done so (do we really know what gets handled off camera?) and Biden just keeps flubbing the numbers. I just don't see any advantage to exaggerating the number of new deaths between now and when he takes over...on purpose.

Now, it's always possible that my opinion or prediction will turn out to be wrong...I would be surprised, but it certainly wouldn't be the first or last time.

Again, I see no benefit to exaggeration for Biden on this matter. The reality is and will be a grossly, obscenely large # of deaths in the next two months, no need to exaggerate for further effect.

On Trump's responsibility for many of these deaths, I think that's accurate...trying to be precise about how many is nonsensical, but sure, this President's mishandling of this crisis has costs thousands of lives, I'd say easily tens of thousands of lives more than should have been lost given a competent response from the President.

Again, my opinion and I've previously explained that logic as well...not going to keep repeating it.
