So which plan are we getting? No one here knows. Because not even Joe and Kamela know:
Healthcare

https://nypost.com/2020/11/02/biden-not ... -disaster/
Trump marshalled private companies to produce massive supplies of ventilators, erected field hospitals and swept away regulations to speed up the development of treatments. The COVID death rate in the United States has plummeted 70 percent since March, according to data from NYU Langone, largely because hospitals are equipped and doctors have more tools.
How does that stack up against the rest of the world? A COVID patient in the United States has a better chance of surviving than in France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Italy or many other countries, according to Johns Hopkins data. Not just slightly better — often twice as good a chance. You don’t hear that from CNN.
No leader has full control over where the virus hits. The difference is how they respond: France’s President Emmanuel Macron and the UK’s Boris Johnson are locking down their countries again, even while acknowledging the painful impact on livelihoods and mental health.

Re: Healthcare
A couple weeks old, but an interesting read:
The Fallout of a SCOTUS Health-Care Decision Could Be Quick, Devastating, and Irreversible
Millions of Americans could lose their insurance—and neither Joe Biden nor the states will be in a good position to do much about it.

Good luck to Pete's Florida in figuring out how to come up with $10Billion per year coming out of a pandemic......
Re: Healthcare
I'm really hoping SCOTUS kills Obamacare. I don't think it will happen though, the Renate Alumnus signaled he wasn't on board. Boof!

Re: Healthcare
Job losses will fully double the number of uninsured Americans. No insurance means no affordable private practice physician. This means a painfully expensive trip to the emergency room if sickness or injury forces medical attention.
With more and more private hospitals marking their services up 1000% or more, loss of insurance followed by critical medical needs (not uncommon in pandemic times) means bankruptcy or daunting medical bills exhausting your savings. This may be why ‘healthcare’ was the top priority for voters in all the polls leading up to the election.
There is a way forward, friends!
Article 1881-A of the Affordable Care Act. It enables M4A for everyone who face a localized medical crisis. That’s all of us. Nationwide. The President can enact this without congressional votes as an Executive Order. Right now, or January 21st.

Re: Healthcare
That provision for the emergency exception to get into medicare was I believe inserted by Max Baucus of Montana... One of the more conservative Ds in the Senate at the time, but it is genius to have it there.
Re: Healthcare
delusional rePUKEblicans said Obamacare was going to be a job killer
it wasn't
but the tRUMP virus is both a killer and a job killer

Re: Healthcare
At some point, Republicans are going to admit how stupid our current "health care" system is, right?
Wait til they get their bills for their Insurance premiums post-Covid.

Gee, where are all the republican comments with their solutions to the health care problem?

I imagine that Trumpcare is only a couple blocks away. Oh boy, it’s almost here!
Re: Healthcare
The only thing Republicans don't like about our current system is Medicare and Medicaid. They'd like to dump both those Socialist programs, along with Social Security.
The system they prefer is: pay up, or die.
Re: Healthcare
My favorite complaint about Obamcare was the claims of "Death Panels"...... What the heck do they think we have right now?
