This article has a paywall in it. This has been a recurring theme i have been reading for weeks now. The folks in charge of containing Covid are struggling to understand where these new cases are coming from. Many of the new cases involve people that are wearing masks and are social distancing. It' s like trying to tackle smoke. As hard as you try you just can't get your arms around it.

Moderna's version of the mRNA vaccine appears to be stable at refrigerator Temps for 30 days. If the vaccine shows good efficacy should help distribution tremendously.

That would be terrific news, as would be the 95% if that holds up.Bart wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 7:27 am Moderna's version of the mRNA vaccine appears to be stable at refrigerator Temps for 30 days. If the vaccine shows good efficacy should help distribution tremendously.

Much the same as above but a little more in depth.
"The Moderna vaccine reduced the risk of Covid-19 infection by 94.5%. There were 95 cases of infection among patients who received placebo in the company’s 30,000-patient study. There were only five infections in patients who developed Covid-19 after receiving Moderna’s vaccine, mRNA-1273."

Quote from a nurse in South Dakota, now one of the WORLD'S worst Covid hotspots...thanks to their numbnut governor Kristi Noem. "She is one of Donald Trump's natural heirs, even using his patented lies and happy-talk approach to the virus, telling lawmakers recently that "in South Dakota, we didn't take a one-size-fits-all approach and the results have been incredible." Incredible yes. Incredibly horrific.I have a night off from the hospital. As I'm on my couch with my dog I can't help but think of the Covid patients the last few days. The ones that stick out are those who still don't believe the virus is real. The ones who scream at you for a magic medicine and that Joe Biden is going to ruin the USA. All while gasping for breath on 100% Vapotherm. They tell you there must be another reason they are sick. They call you names and ask why you have to wear all that "stuff" because they don't have COViD because it's not real. Yes. This really happens.
This Con Man era can't end quickly enough...

Anyone know when we are going to start seeing strain numbers? (Or where?)
Those are important numbers to know, especially given the difference between lethality of strains.

You don't believe this. Just stop.
You'll have plenty to complain about in a few short weeks when Biden arrives. You don't need to invent stuff now that Trump is leaving.

I believe it completely. Especially Cuomo
Who still denys any culpability for thousands dead in Nursing homes.

Ask yourselves who has benefitted from this coronavirus other than Democrats.

Can not continue to do this. Went to the watering hole the other day, they're opening two hours earlier and giving a dollar off drinks from two to four (when you drink $2.50 PBR drafts, that aint bad). Bar tender, (who is top shelf and been there for many years) says she makes half of what she used to (frankly, I'm surprised it's that much), just can not continue to do this, many people really hurting. The stimulus pkg settled yet?
Just as a side, was looking across the street at the apartments and noticed this guy got a new light. Geezuz H, looks as if he's trying to light up the street.

Re: All things Chinese CoronaVirus
So you think that Cuomo is enjoying all the lost money, and he wants it to continue? He likes shutting down businesses, and keeping people from seeing their grandparents, etc? Come on. Not even you are this far down the partisan rabbit hole.
And let me guess: you think that only Dem Governors enjoy shutdowns. And Republican Governors are sparkle-awesome, and hate the shutdowns? That about the size of it here?
Just stop.
And you and Trump deny that he has any culpability. Sensing a trend? You're stuck here with your complaining. You want to hit Cuomo for "doing it wrong", all while not criticizing Trump. Can't have it both ways, no matter how hard you want it to be so. Either both Cuomo and Trump are responsible for their shortcomings....or neither of them are. Pick one.
And for months, you've been telling us that this virus is a media plot to take out Trump. Now that Trump is gone, shutdowns in places like South Dakota where the virus is overwhelming the few hospitals have......and the media is still all over the story, giving us infections rats, full hospitals, death counts.
So.......are you ready to tell us that you were wrong? That this wasn't a media plot to take out Trump?
This virus doesn't care about who's President, my man.
