Agree, a completely self serving post from a rival fan. I just just hope Dox does what’s best for Dox. Would love to have him back but he has been a great player for us and has his degree so all good whatever he decides.

I sort of wonder if these rankings are correct. It seems sort of hard to believe Wayer could go from a five star to unranked - and they appear to be running the rankings out to 150 or so.

UPDATE
- now IL has removed the rankings from this source

Looks like no future Hoos in IL’s top 10 incoming freshman. Not sure that’s ever happened since IL started making these lists (mid 90s?). That’s interesting (and probably pleasing to some rival fans.) Bit of a down year/under-the-radar class per the recruitniks I guess. I think Ben Wayer has a chance to be great, but the attack recruits dropped significantly compared to earlier rankings. We shall see if if the experts are right about this class.

I mistook you for a Heel poster who also has “10” in his handle. My apologies. Regardless, it was meant to be a joke. Any fan of Dox is alright by me!

It's looking like that listing that I mention above was incorrect.

The top ten is listed on the picture of the cover, so that is accurate. I think UVA probably missed out on having a top ten recruit at some point.

In 2014, UVA's highest ranked recruit was #14 Scott Hooper.

Seriously, I don’t think it has happened. The Zed Williams class was not highly ranked, but I’m pretty sure Zed was top 10. Admittedly, I’m too lazy to do the research.

Still, the defending champions Virginia has the firepower necessary to return to Championship Weekend and potentially defend their title in 2021.

I would have agreed with that when we thought Dox was returning and it still could occur. Virginia still has oodles of talent but now they will need to sort out the pieces on the 1st and 2nd midfield units. You could be comfortable with Dox, Cormier and a complementary player getting the job done. Does Comier play midfield or attack and who will initiate the offense for Virginia? There are some very talented guys who have played varying degrees of complimentary midfield roles like Conner, Quinn, Garno, Bienkowski and Simmons, etc., etc.. Then add in the attack men who could play midfield like Cormier, Shellenberger, and Bertrand. There is work to do in CVille to determine the best 6 on the field is all I am saying.

Where is Jonathon Donville going to transfer? We could use a great midfielder?

Apparently, Chris Bocklet is battling head injuries sustained in a recent accident while long boarding. In the ICU...

It is rewarding to watch the outpouring of generous donations in support of Chirs' recovery.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.
