I view coronavirus as a strong contagion, and it wouldn't have made much difference.MDlaxfan76 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 5:53 pmCooter wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 9:36 amI definitely believe it.MDlaxfan76 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 9:07 amCooter, you didn't actually believe that statement did you?Kismet wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 9:03 amThey met Monday. The point is because we did not do enough to beat down the numbers to very low, we now have a completely widespread pandemic that is at this point out of control.
Abdication by Trump for leading an effective response remains a huge contribution to the problem, and the fact that the feds have not actually solved some of the PPE supply problem likely means this winter will be horrible for COVID cases/deaths.
And as far as anyone can tell, the coronavirus task force is not even meeting anymore...
It is you who read the mainstream press who have been hoodwinked.
What's your logic?
That there shouldn't be a second wave at all if Trump is blameless? How does that work?
Trump claimed this would all be over by Easter, told us very definitely there's be no return in the fall, etc, etc...and told us not to wear masks unless we wanted to be made fun of...
So, how does him being so epically wrong make him blameless for the US's failure to crush down the degree of infection through distancing and mask wearing, failing to implement a national testing and tracing strategy?
I don't see the logic, which is why I assumed you were just joshing. Gotta be really cultish otherwise.
My memory is that there was shortage of masks and a lot of concern about there being enough masks for medical people and 1st responders back in March.

Interesting thread if you read the back and forth after Elon's tweet, where he took 4 tests in one day 2 positive, 2 negative: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/132 ... 69472?s=20

Discernment Classic lefty move, attack political foe for exactly what you do, then deflect. I could care less what they do. It's okay for our elected officials to dine together sitting right next to each other as every other place of dining in the world six 6 plus feet away? Think we get a mea culpa from them as they watch their constituency restaurateurs failing? Nah...you don't care, as long as your side has the ball. I suppose you chose the blue kool-aid this morning.seacoaster wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 8:55 amYou just never stop. I wonder if the folks at Pelosi’s dinner are subject to being tested and if they will abide by occupancy requirements like everyone else. In my community we are at 50% going back to 25% soon. It was like that in June/July and then it went to 50% and then 75%. I haven’t been in a restaurant since March.Kismet wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 9:36 am"My body, my choice."Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 9:30 amWhen was that photo taken?
