Point 3: Against the largest turnout in modern Republican history, Democrats still managed to flip two Republican Senate seats (Colorado and Arizona), lost just one (in Alabama), and put themselves in position for a shot to win the majority with two runoffs in Georgia.

Point 4: President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris just won the most votes ever by a presidential ticket and flipped (probably) five states won by the incumbent President four years ago, including two cornerstone Red states (Arizona and Georgia).

All of that is immensely impressive.

Why pretend liberals are maniacs with their wonderful mindfuls. Hey DOCb, rap your head around this one:

400K registered GOP voters in my state ( Massachusettes) yet Trump got 1.1 million votes. Mass. has long been a testing ground for national politics. Heck, we gave you OBAMAcare, along with the taats at the Heritage foundation, but I digress. Hey DOC. Where did all those 700k votes come from that Trump got?

Hillaryous C. won Massachusettes by only a couple 100k votes. AnyOne But (Biden) won by much, over double the votes that Trump got. Trump got roughly the same. I believe this to be the case.

SO, when are the pretend liberals like you going to listen to THOSE 700K as to WHY they voted for the scumbag personality, harmless as an actual lawmaker. In fact, Trumps laws he signed are mostly very beneficial to our Country. But, would YOU want to stay married to the guy?

I don't know.

I think we can expect Biden to remove the trade restrictions on Chicom rather quickly.
Respectfully, you don't understand what has happened with Trump's fake Trade Wars.

The trade restrictions aren't hurting China----they're hurting America.

The price to ship a pallet of goods in America doubled this year. Would you like to know why? Imports into LA area ports are the highest they've been since they started retaining records 114 years ago. And we literally don't have enough trucks to move all the imports inland....so prices for trucking in the US exploded from too much demand.

Wanna take a wild guess as to where the bulk of those 40' shipping containers are coming from?

Wanna guess if imports from China into America are at an all time high, or an all time low?

China took Trump and his sorry understanding of how trade works to the shed. It didn't end well. Like most (but not all) things Trump, the opposite of what TrumpNation claimed happened....actually happened.
Another example of Trump being left on the curb with his pants down around his ankles and his pockets turned inside out.
I no longer trust a word of what AFAN says. He has turned to quoting twitter. So sad. :)

Don't believe a word of it, with COVID 19 going on, that we are getting this much junk from China during a world wide plague of death. Which started in china. Why are the ports even open? (aren't EXPORTS up too? )

If the new oligarchy only had those peopleless trucks to move goods around. Who ever beat up Bezos, then need to apologize. Maybe than he will stop with Kalki stuff.

There are 4.8 mm registered voters in Massachusetts, with open primaries allowing an unaffiliated voter to choose which primary they want to participate in each cycle. Of that 4.8 mm, there are 1.5mm registered Dems, just about 480k GOP, so 2.8mm unaffiliated.

GOP Governor.

I agree with Doc that the Biden win was "impressive", indeed it was far stronger than it is being presented by much of the media. That said, it did not have the 'blue wave' characteristic some had hoped, despite an historic # of votes cast for Biden. IMO this was largely because the intensity of voter preferences brought out massive #'s of voters in red - leaning areas who voted down ballot with Trump and less party intensity from those voted opposed to Trump. In some instances, this resulted in a return of those states at the top of the ticket to the 'anti-Trump' vote, in other cases it fell short. But the 'anti' was mostly about Trump.

That said, Trump successfully attracted in 2016 and again in 2020 an unusual number of voters who rarely or never before voted, despite many prior cycles in which they could have done so. In other words, lots of people who had previously not participated as citizens in our fundamental processes of democracy. And they are very intense about that support being a test of 'loyalty' to the man himself.

All sorts of other dynamics come into play but that's what happened in this cycle. There's indeed a substantial question as to how to address those voters' issues and concerns more constructively going forward. But this really isn't going to be easy as they'd much prefer to listen to Q-like conspiracies than to answer questions as to what they care about.

The data says that Biden's win is pretty impressive.

The Dem margin over 2016 improved in every swing state except FL.

+3.9% AZ. +5.4% in GA. +2.3% in NC. +3.2% in TX.

5 million vote margin nationally and growing. 3.4% national margin and growing.

Not a blow out, but very solid.

Your Republican party will still have a "trump" problem in 2024. If he is not in jail or residing someplace in obscurity he is still going to try and weasel his way into who you folks run in 2024. He has the ear of 70 million people that voted for him. That has to frustrate all of the mainstream Republicans to no end. They can't stand the guy but it seems like there will be no getting rid of him. I could see him running in 2024 as an independent just to be a fly in the ointment to the Republican party. One thing I think we both know is that trump has never been a republican.

Biden was smart to concentrate on those states that HRC ignored in 2016. Bidens people ran a brilliant textbook campaign there is no doubting that at all.

 You're right to give me grief....but I was quoting an opinion, not something passed off as fact. I quoted it because it was a political pundit who pointed out the same thing I did a few days ago....essentially, why is TrumpNation ONLY claiming fraud for Trump's results, when each ballot obviously includes at least a dozen other Senate, Congressional, Mayoral, etc. races.

The area VP of our shipping company that we use to ship and receive pallets of everything from spirits, to malt, to glass. They called us to let us know our rates were doubling. It's a top five OTR shipping company....

Then, I was curious, and looked at import data Ports in Long Beach and LA, because he told us that's where all the shipping containers were coming in. Lo and behold, record imports in Sept.

Talking in secret and lying to cover it up.... versus....official call with readout...

Put aside that these congratulatory calls happen with every transition when it becomes clear who the winner of the election is (which no allied leader questions is Biden), the big deal is that you don't do secret calls, compromising the United States in the process.

Joe Biden raised the Logan Act when everyone in the Obama inner circle wanted to drop the Flynn investigation.
