Raleigh-Durham?

The prior Tech AD was a joke but both FB and BB are putting together some pretty good classes, next years FB class is Top 20 and BB just landed a high end recruit (out of Alabama I think).

No matter what your political views are it is worth a listen to Heaney's words.
This is great, thanks for sharing.

Here's hoping that both political parties hold their politicians to the same moral standards they apply to members of the other party, and that both parties work for the good of the nation (not merely/mainly against the other party). I'm done with these political boards for now, looking forward to attending NCAA lacrosse games again (Go Yale!). Peace and good health to all.

Who brags about finishing second in a two-man race? What’s next, saying Biden finished next to last?

Pulling out the boogeychick. She sucks and they'll swat her and Omar down like they had Mayor Pete, Klobs and Bernie fold in Feb.

May as well call this election the work of Satan...

 It's hilarious. Change is bad....let's maintain the current course and completely destroy the middle and working class in America.

Don't worry, Cooter. Biden is the same breakfast you've had for 40 years. Nothing will change.

And the libs in cities will take more and more money.....and flyover America will keep circling the drain.

That's one thing I don't like living in the Virginia Beach / Hampton Roads area. No big time sports within an easy drive.
A little long of a drive, but still just a day trip to see the reigning MBB national champions and their awesome coach Tony Bennett. They should be contenders this year (assuming the season survives Covid). Wa-hoo-wa!!

Trump got 306 EVs in 2016. The three closest states were Mich 0.3%, WI 0.7%, PA 0.7%. Had those gone the other way (46 EVs), Hillary would have won with 278.

Joe's going to get 306 EVs. The three closest states are GA 0.2%, AZ 0.6%, WI 0.6%. Presumably the final tally would give Joe slightly bigger margins. If those three would flip (37 EVs), Trump would win with 269 (House vote scenario).*

One of those candidates conceded within hours of the final call. And the other is a whiny little beyotch.

*If you swap in PA, Trump would still need to reverse three states to win. But PA (currently 0.6%) will probably wind up being closer to 1% when all the counting is done.

From Twitter (DJ Judd)
Melania Trump has joined the growing chorus of President Donald Trump’s inner circle advising him the time has come for him to accept the loss, a source familiar with the conversations tells CNN’s @KateBennett_DC

Farfromgeneva wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 7:13 am The EU National leaders? Makes no sense. That would be like calling governors the US National leaders.

It’s not a mathematical exercise, that would be stupid since the EU is not monolithic, they had distinct cultures for many moons before they created that monstrosity. It’s dumb to act like it’s one country, it’s designed as a harmonization if economies to keep Germany in check conceived initially after world war 2 and really pushed forward with the Maastricht treaty in the early 90s. I studied in Copenhagen when there was a referendum to join the EMU (set of economic rules and common currency within the EU) and under a guy who was an advisor to the Danish government. We discussed the EU as nauseum over wine and/or Carlsberg (normally I drank Tuborg as I was broke but when he paying I drank the good stuff).

For someone who supposedly understands international politics so well it’s either totally dishonest or shows a complete lack of understanding to use the EU as one entity that would be comparable to the US.
Your answer shows your misunderstanding. I said "EU national leaders" not "the leaders of the EU". So Merkel's blameless compared to Trump ? How about Johnson, Macron, the leaders of Spain, Italy, Belgium & the Netherlands ? They have powers comparable to the POTUS without the challenge of herding 50 cats who jealously guard their powers. They also have much smaller, less diverse, more compact populations to lead & direct. It's much easier to lockdown & restrict activity (or not) in Belgium than it is in the US, while counting on the entire EU for the bailout. Your description fits the Common Market much more accurately than the EU monstrosity it grew to become. The US is even less monolithic than the EU. In states that do relatively well, the Governor gets the credit (eg MD), in states that do less well, they blame shift to Trump.
When you step back, you see how similar the results are in the US & the EU, compared to Asian nations. Instead of scapegoating individual leaders (like Trump), that is where the critical differences can be found.

Or just wants out with the current terms before the money completely evaporates due to: 1. business is not as good as needed, 2. high debt load, 3: back taxes maybe coming due (both Trump's past controversial deduction from several years ago and the taxes from how his family bypassed inheritance taxes...)
