JHU Centennial Conference cohort Swarthmore cancels spring sports season.

Talk that the Centennial and ODAC will make decisions about spring athletic competition this week.
If the Centennial cancels, it doesnt necessarily make sense for JHU to keep the whole athletic department open just for lacrosse. Might be good for the new coach to be able to get his feet under him, before having to jump into a loaded B1G.
I remember going to visit swarthmore and to be politically correct I thought of the place what john blutarski thought of the guitar and the losers on the staircase. We never even got out of the car, just kept going to penn. That statement is everything that's wrong with modern higher ed. "cross campus collaboration"-it's sports, dean wormer.
Athletics is 620 students. 13-15 percent of the undergrad student body and one that's exempt from the diversity, legacy and academic criteria the rest of the student body has to pass to gain admission. There is no "shutting it down", they might not play, but the coaches still have to recruit, prepare camps if they run them and help student athletes.
"Might be good for the new coach to be able to get his feet under him, before having to jump into a loaded B1G."-This is a ridiculous statement. Milliman isn't even coaching the players right now.
we've discussed the idea of the school not playing while the rest of the conference and rivals do and it would probably ruin the program and support for the school in general from alumni.
