This legislatures know exactly what they are doing, and it is the opposite of making voting easier for registered voters.

And of course, we then have laws that make it easier for some eligible citizens to register than others...on purpose.

Of course, some would like to go back further to more direct suppression, you 6ft?
You've added a month for early voting. Mail in ballots easily available with a month to max them in. How are votes being suppressed again.

And Texas put a single drop box in an area with millions of voters.
I've posted this before and just have to keep posting it again and again.

I live in small Boulder County, CO, population 325k. We have 16 permanent 24/7 ballot drop boxes available for three full weeks prior to election day. Plus there are additional temporary drop sites that open close to the election -- like numerous drive throughs open this weekend. Plus, I am able to use drop the numerous drop boxes located in other counties -- Denver, Colo Springs, Fort Collins, Vail, Aspen, Telluride, etc. -- any drop box in the entire state will take my ballot.

One drop box for Houston/Harris County (5 million pop)?????? That may be technically legal for Banana Republican Gov. Abbott to do. But there's only one purpose to such an action.

That's the kind of thing you'd expect from Putin, the Ayatollah or Kim Jong Un. Its a forking disgrace. It is why, for the first time in my life, I am now a single issue, straight party line voter. Sorry Cory Gardner -- you are a pretty nice reasonable guy but you just have to lose.

Maybe that's why the Russians and Iranians are not doing much right now as they watch us implode ourselves.
TX GOP suing in Federal Court to disallow 100,000 ballots already cast via drive up voting (which was done is the primaries and authorized by the SoS.)
How do those people get their votes back to recast on Tuesday? Hearing scheduled fro Monday?????

Plus, the Texas Supreme Court has already ruled that drive through voting is legal.

What this new lawsuit tells me is that the Rs are seriously concerned about Texas.

It’s entertainment. Other than what I see and post about here, I have not followed it like I did 4 years ago. I was watching CNN, MSNBC and some FoxNews daily. I have not watched since about April when COVID coverage was too much.

What it tells me is that they plan an appeal to SCOTUS, where Frozen Trucker, Renate Alumnus, and Large Dogma will decide that if God had wanted drive-through voting He would have given everyone an F150 at Conception, when life begins.

Maybe you are right. Under an originalist interpretation, they didn’t allow drive-through voting back when the Constitution was ratified.

But this case is going nowhere.

Can you imagine the tear gas and rubber bullets being deployed from helicopters if African Americans were blocking bridges and highways, plus running a campaign bus off the highway?

You're not fooling anyone with your nonsense, 6ft. The millisecond...the millisecond....you decide that Republican election wins depend on making folks able to vote for three months? You'll be on here, complaining about how we need to move voting to a three month period.

All you care about is winning. You think that's more important than having a representative democracy.

It's absurd---totally absurd----to try and argue that we should make voting as difficult as possible.

Yet that's what your team is doing.

And as I said? When the Dems realize that it's hard for FoxNation to get to the polls in person and vote? I hope with all the hope I can muster that they make in person voting mandatory in every State. And put one single polling place in the worst neighborhood in each major city.

So I can come back here and laugh and laugh and laugh at the consequences of making your team's blatant attempt to win by any means necessary.......

It's so freaking transparent. You and your party should be ashamed of yourselves. One freaking ballot box in a Texas county with millions of voters? That's treasonous, if you ask me. Whomever is responsible for such a brazen attack on their fellow Americans should rot in jail.

And no, I'm not kidding. Your team is playing with a fire that they obviously don't understand. You don't get to act surprised if these games burn your own house down.....
