Has UMD reached out to Cormier yet?

Re: Maryland 2021
UMD has a lot of lefty attackmen on the roster.
Also, Tillman hasn't really gone after Canadians much.

you can never have too many lefties, never.

Re: Maryland 2021
I echo the sentiment about lefties even though I played on a high school team on which I was one of six lefty attackmen, and back then when you offered to play middie to see the field, you really were playing a different position.
Recently your archival had an EMO unit with five natural lefties.

Don’t care what his dominant hand, I’d take that kid on the team every day of the week
Re: Maryland 2021
Another name in the portal in the article is Andrew Florenzo of Maryland. I don’t ever remember that name on any UMD roster. Who is/was he?

Re: Maryland 2021
Sorry to be so confused but the article indicated he was outgoing transfer but I guess he’s incoming? since Dylan Pallonetti is #47 on the roster I see at UMTERPS. DP is off to Stoney Brook from what I’ve read elsewhere. If he’s incoming he’s definitely needed to fill out that group.

Andrew Florentine was a freshman in 2019, but never played. Guess he as enter the portal now to see what his options are. He was not on the 2020 roster

Re: Maryland 2021
Bigger question was why he was on the roster in the 1st place? Tills must have been doing a donor a favor?
Re: Maryland 2021
That is not a very nice thing to say. Lots of players come and try to make it at Maryland and end up transferring off to lesser programs.SouthernLax wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 9:56 pm Bigger question was why he was on the roster in the 1st place? Tills must have been doing a donor a favor?

Or end up transferring to equivalent, or arguably better, programs (e.g. Cannizzaro to Denver)Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:20 amThat is not a very nice thing to say. I don't know how you would get Denver to be better.BigTom4 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:30 amOr end up transferring to equivalent, or arguably better, programs (e.g. Cannizzaro to Denver)Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:20 amThat is not a very nice thing to say. Hard to argue they weren't better in 2015...Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:43 amI don't know how you would get Denver to be better.BigTom4 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:30 amOr end up transferring to equivalent, or arguably better, programs (e.g. Cannizzaro to Denver)Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:20 amThat is not a very nice thing to say. Maryland won it in 2017 and you were talking about programs not specific seasons.BigTom4 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 12:12 pmHard to argue they weren't better in 2015...Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:43 amI don't know how you would get Denver to be better.BigTom4 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:30 amOr end up transferring to equivalent, or arguably better, programs (e.g. Cannizzaro to Denver)Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:20 amThat is not a very nice thing to say. Re: Maryland 2021
Yes but with the specific example of Cannizzaro he is obviously only referring to a certain time period/season. I'm also not so sure MD looks a whole lot better than Denver next season if you want to talk about programs. Denver loses to a quality team in UNC and somewhat quality in Duke, while MD loses to somewhat quality Nova who went on to lose to Drexel and barely holds off mediocre teams like Richmond and Albany. As far as adding transfer talent goes I would rather take Morrill and Colter than Holden and Griffin Brown any day of the week.Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 1:17 pmMaryland won it in 2017 and you were talking about programs not specific seasons.BigTom4 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 12:12 pmHard to argue they weren't better in 2015...Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:43 amI don't know how you would get Denver to be better.BigTom4 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:30 amOr end up transferring to equivalent, or arguably better, programs (e.g. Cannizzaro to Denver)Cooter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:20 amThat is not a very nice thing to say. Re: Maryland 2021
Morrill seems like a really top transfer, but I would not really see Colter as necessarily a better pickup than Brown or Holden.
