There is no evidence there is any authenticity to the NY Post story. Too many things smell here.
Why would Hunter Biden drop off a laptop for repair and never come back for it? Why is there not paperwork? Why are the emails PDFs, missing all the metadata? The sole claim to ownership of the laptop to HB is a sticker on the machine?
Why is the IC telling the Washington Post that they suspected that Ukrainians/Russians were using RG to push info?
Why is the FBI sitting on the data? Why was a copy purportedly provided to RG, other than the repair guy seems to be aquainted with him and himself is a rabid Trumpist?
And finally, why does almost nobody outside of the Trump support camp think this is legit in ANY way?
Because there is good reason to not think so!
Sometimes the answer is obvious...
The Steele dossier was too plausible not to be true.
Two things can be true. The Russians probably were targeting Rudy with disinformation.
How did they get that info, on that computer to that shop ?
Biden could clear it up if Hunter makes a public statement that it was not his computer & he didn't drop it off.
In an interview, Rudy claims to have the paperwork that was prepared when the alleged Hunter dropped off the computer.
In the interview of MacIssac, he told about how he got the customer contact info from the alleged Hunter.
I believe the NY Post editor, in an inteview I saw, said they had the paperwork or had seen or verified it.
It has also been reported there's a 12 min sex video with Hunter & an unidentified woman.
Maybe she was a Russian agent who set Hunter up the stole his computer. I wonder if the FBI has identified her yet ?
That's the story line I'm hoping for.
