What a photo; tells you all you need to know about America today. The guy who has been shot, need I remind anyone, committed the 'crime' of supporting the police.

Rejecting a remote debate, Eric Trump said on ⁦‪@ThisWeekABC‬⁩ that debating your opponent, face to face, is how we've handled presidential debates for the last 200 years.

The first presidential debate was in 1960. The third Nixon Kennedy debate, also 1960, was done remotely.

Yes. What are you offering, 6ft? That's how this country works. If your team has better answers to our health, infrastructure, education and other domestic problems.....you'll win in the war of ideas, and you'll get the votes and stay in power.

What's your counter to the above proposals? By every metric-----education, access to health care, infrastructure, police killings, energy usage, etc.....we're falling behind other 1st world nations.

So what do you have, besides "the Dems are bad"??

I can rattle off dozens of ideas given out by Nixon and other Republicans in the 60's and 70's that addressed these issues, 6ft. Where are the big ideas from your party?

You should be able to list them off the top of your head.
We're offering the country as founded.

Fourth Amendment protection.

Innocence until proven guilty

A raging economy based on inexpensive readily available fossil fuels

Less regulation

Energy independence.

This list seems so sensible...why do Lefties fight it?
Because for one, that's not at all what your R leaders are actually doing. Not even close. Laughably so. Do you guys bother to check to see if these things are ACTUALLY happening? Or are you just so pro-government that you'll believe anything a government official tells you without question?

If R's believed in distinct borders, Trump would have passed immigration reform. If they believed in Capitalism, we wouldn't be running the biggest deficit since WWII...and using Federal borrowing power to throw money at guys like Pete.

If they believed in innocent until proven guilty, they wouldn't be yelling "lock her up". If they believed in energy independence, they wouldn't allow energy importation. If they believed in law and order, they'd take it seriously when fellow citizens told them that police were killing citizens for no reason without consequences. If they believed in separation of powers, they'd lose their minds when Barr stepped in to help the President's buddy, instead of letting a Judge do her job.

I do find it hilarious that the two of you have finally abandoned the illusion that R's are for limited, Small government, though. Nice job. It only took you, oh, about 20 years to catch on to that lie......but, well done!

And for two, it's platitudes.

So let's stick to just one issue. What's your plan for getting America's education back on track at the HS level? And what's your plan for keeping an entire generation of college kids blowing all their future purchasing power on absurdly expensive college?

Sure:

1. Promote school choice for high schools and below

2. Get rid of Sallie Mae for colleges

I’m surprised they let Eric go on TV. He is so painfully dumb, he doesn’t know that when he sometimes tells the truth, he hurts the Trump crime family. For example when he admitted a few years ago that they get all the money they need from Russia. Oops. Did he say that out loud?

Or when he recently called the Trump upstate home the family’s second home, which was just a tad inconsistent with daddy’s attempt to write off expenses for an investment property.

Pretty clear why Don, Jr. isn’t allowed on TV now.

Ivana the Younger won’t go on anymore because the TV people ask her such mean, mean questions. At first, she tried the poor little rich girl pout, but that just didn’t work for an audience other than daddy.

There was a time that Jared fancied himself as a slick talker. That is, until he actually got in front of a camera and talked about “our PPE.” So he is now benched as well. That’s Chris Christie you hear chortling in the background.

I’m fairly sure I know more about it than most here including you. I posted well before this with videos and links.

So far as Dolloff being ‘security’, as previously mentioned, it appears as if Antifa now has a side hustle ‘protecting journalists’ from Antifa. It’s called extortion in other words. And of course he wasn’t protecting anyone at the time of the shooting.

I said I’d wait for more evidence if you read my post. What can be said with absolute certainty is a small businessman patriot who supported police (the horror) lost his life to another person whose social media is a litany of TDS, BLM, and Antifa lunacy.

Getting education back on track is far more complicated than school choice (which just exacerbates the disparity between the haves and have nots and has not shown it actually really improves things).

My suggestion would be to expect more of teachers and administrators - and pay them (like Finland). Remove nonsense compliance regulations (like standardized testing each year which only lines the pockets of the testers and does nothing for the actual education of the students as it bends education from real attainment and thinking to stupid adherence to tests which are not the right goals).

Encourage co-enrollment with community colleges and other local colleges, so the brighter students begin to earn college credits with someone else paying for them (and BTW, it is often cheaper per student for the high schools to pay for this than to directly teach the students).

And at the college level - the states need to pony up like they once did and pay for a greater share of funding for higher ed. That puts pressure economically on many of the private colleges to remain as affordable as possible if higher ed through the state systems is free/nearly free to students. And the reliance on student loans needs to be lowered to a tiny fraction of an education's cost - treat higher ed as an investment for society and not a luxury.

Who gives a sh*t what my plan is. I know republicans are closer to a solution that fits in a free capitalist society than you and your lib friends are.

Making college FREE certainly isn't the answer.

Pretty sick of your one horse argument about republicans.

One more time this Russian hoax you fail to recognize as even existing kept most republicans from helping trump do anything, especially immigration.
The MSM would have destroyed them.

Its why democrats won back the house in 2018

With no debate this week and only 3 weeks left, getting hard to see what remains that could get the needle moving in Trump's favor.

Even if the current polls are off by 5-6 points, Trump would still be outside of range to pull the EC straight. That only happens if the PV margin is 4, maybe 5, points or less.

Per 538 today:

94% chance of Joe winning the PV
86% chance of winning the EC
36% of a landslide (double digit PV margin)

Let's go Joe! Let's go Joe!
