Thought this one carried over from LP, but did t see it.
What are you listening to lately? Anything new? Old? Obscure? Unique?
What’s the ear worm that’s burrowing into your brain these days?
Why are you listening to?

Get a kick out of this little sweetie. Classically trained flautist reacting to Ian.
Blows her mind a little but Ian's got a new fan.

Dmac, in your past did you come across acts like this? This particular one is of the lost music of Cambodian stars like Sinn Sisamouth or in this case, Ros Serey Sothea who were later executed for being artists. This track is a haunting mix of Cambodian lyrics and western instrumentals no doubt influenced by Americans.

Can't say it's a completely unfamiliar sound to me, a s , can't say it's something I've heard a lot of either. This is the sound I would expect to hear if walking into a place in that part of the world though (have never experienced a day/night out in those parts), have never been fond of the sound of the language(s) or music in that part of the world. To me, that trac is a pretty good example of why.
I don't think Doc can get mad at me for this one.

My wife bought me a MusicMan for Father’s Day. I mess around. My brother plays professionally....he is a lead guitarist but doubles on bass for a lot of 1980’s Funk Band revival groups. I have played off and on for years but never to get really good. I quit a band in 8th grade. Between sports, girls and school (in that order) I didn’t have the time to put into it. My brother chose music over school!!

Here he is as the 2nd bassist with Victor Wooten.
