You should have watched it; I think you'd tone down the Slow Joe stuff if you had. It was a very good speech; that is, the speech-writing was elevated, thoughtful, clear and compelling. And it was well delivered.

And again, if nothing else, Biden is a better person, better husband, better father and grandfather, and better American, than the incumbent, babbling threat to democracy.
cradle, I suspect the speech is available on youtube, as would be the lead-in video etc.

Definitely worth watching if you have any questions about Joes' acuity or energy.
Important as well to understand what he said, the importance of the message that he will be a President for all Americans, as much for those who opposed him as those who supported him...that's the job.

Pretty stark contrast.
… anyone selling the idea that Joe is not on his game, not up to the job, not all there got smacked down pretty good last night.

Biden's speech was delivered LIVE in front of some press and others in the auditorium in Wilmington DE. Had you bothered to watch any of the coverage on any networks (except Fox and OANN) you would have known that or, at least, seen it for yourself or been reported as such.

TRUMP COMES UP EMPTY WHEN PRESSED FOR EVIDENCE OF ELECTION FRAUD IN COURT
The Trump campaign’s 524-page response to a discovery demand turned up precisely zero instances of mail-in vote fraud.

Do you think Trump has pre-recorded a concession speech, you know, just in case he needs one?

No, he has pre-recorded his "I'm declaring martial law because of massive mail-in ballot fraud" speech.

That's assuming his sabotage of the Postal Service does not work well enough to make that speech unnecessary.

You gotta give Joe credit. He has flubbed every speech he has made for many years. When he had to nail it it, he pulled a rabbit out of his hat. You give Joe more credit than I do. He comes across as a decent guy, but he has a tendency to become volatile especially when he talks about trump. I do think there is a good chance at the debates that Joe winds up with trump in a headlock looking for a wall to slam him into. trumps objective at the debates will be to get under Joes skin. Maintaining his composure while standing so close to trump could be problematic for Joe. I admit I would amused if Joe puts him in a chokehold and slams him to the ground. I don't think the secret service would be quite as amused as I would.

I think Joe will hold his own in any "debate" with Trump, although it would lock my vote in even more if Joe kicked Trump in the balls.

That is not out of the realm of possibility. That just might get Joe my vote. On the serious side I do think there is something that is not right with Joe. I have seen him get confused way to often lately when he talks. I did not see his speech last night and i won't listen to any trump drivel either. I am guessing last night Joe was in as controlled an environment as his people could put him in. I will watch the debates for 2 reasons. I think they will be off the charts in terms of the crazy stuff that will be said. It could devolve into an episode of Jerry Springer. The second reason you already mentioned. I would love to see Biden kick trump dead square in his nuts. It could happen. :D

Biden mopped the floor with Ryan in 2012. It will be interesting to see what Trump agrees to as far as a debate format, if they have one at all.

Honestly. Do you note no change in Biden from 8 years ago ?
