IMO, this is where BHO really missed a huge opportunity, as do most leaders that caught up in the BS of everything else.
BLM would be wise to blow up their current leadership team and adopt a more unified, in-touch leadership team. I also believe that a singular message from this new leadership team would go a very long way, it goes something like this.....
"We forgive you", then allow the healing to further begin.
And, " BLM folks don't believe it has"... You know this how?

The Dems exploded in the Portland suburbs last night. Riots and fights and fires.
Waking up babies + young kids + working class folks. Scaring elderly ladies.
Can they hurt their masters' election chances any more? Democrats must lose 100,000 votes every night they torch cities.
Personally, I hope they keep it up all the way through November 3rd!

The political utility of violence: BLM and what happened at Ronald McDonald House in Chicago
By JOHN KASS
CHICAGO TRIBUNE |
AUG 15, 2020 AT 5:00 AM
While much of the focus has been on rationalizations for the looting, the violence did some horrible things to innocent human beings.
Like the parents of seriously ill children at the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago. It is a place of sanctuary and peace for families, a place to sleep and rest as they take turns at the hospital bedsides of their seriously ill children.
What happened was disgusting.
As looters raged early Monday morning, a group with hammers attacked the Ronald McDonald House, smashing windows to pieces, smashing doors.
If you’ve ever had a child in the hospital, you know the feeling of fear and panic building inside of you.
And add to that looting mobs that prevent you reaching your child’s bedside or getting a much-needed few hours’ sleep. And later you hear the rationalizations of a political actor telling you that history works that way.
https://www.chicagotribune.com/columns/ ... story.html
Wouldn't you expect some empathy from the father of a daughter with special needs.
Wouldn't you expect some condemnation from ANY of our leftist regulars.
Nah. Whatever it takes to get rid of Trump.
Who cares if you have to terrorize some sick children.

Nah. Whatever it takes to get rid of Trump.

But I’m far more concerned about the effort of Trump and his Republican goons to get rid of the Affordable Care Act, an effort that, if successful, could prevent my daughter from obtaining health insurance when she’s older. I can’t live or work forever (although I will have to try and work until I die), so my special needs daughter won’t always be able to stay on my “Cadillac” health insurance. Her medical needs cost in the six figures annually, and Medicaid (also constantly threatened by Republicans), does not come close to being adequate.
Bottom line, my daughter could die without the Affordable Care Act if it’s not around after I’m gone.
So ... you may want think a bit more about what is important to a “father of a daughter with special needs.”

But Then the Trump screed. And assumptions about evil republicans coming for your cadillac plan.
I think that's the left and "Medicare for ALL" coming for your private insurance.
If we weren't covering illegal immigrants and the clueless we could spend much more on the helpless. Like your lovely daughter.

We’re here on the RACE thread, not the Covid thread.
Are there other unrelated topics you demand others to bend a knee on? I don’t want to say ‘yeah it stinks that people have died of Covid’, then you simply ask for another unrelated admission. Is Covid all, or are there others? Also, is the RACE thread now the catch all thread for other unrelated topics you will seek absolution for?

The guy yelling and cursing at neighborhood children and neighbors of police union leader Bob Kroll is John Thompson, a Dem candidate for the MN House of Representatives.
He has been endorsed by Rep. Ilhan Omar, MN Gov. Tim Walz, and MN AG Keith Ellison.
