Oh man I was a huge DKs fan! Saw them multiple times at the Mab in 78 and 79 when I was in grad school at Stanford. Jello Biafra had an electric stage presence. And the Mab was SMALL, you couldn't be more than a few feet from the stage ...
Figured I catch you with that one. And I loved their message, but even they sold out and fought each other in court over royalty money. Supposedly Jello pulled the same move that the producer for NWA did with Ice Cube and Dre a decade later (Jerry something).

Ever see Sid Vicious live? That was one crazy cat.

But I still think Cornell's best contribution to music is the 1977 Dead live Dick's Picks album...
You know Cornell Press published a book about that 77 Dead Show - which is generally considered the best Grateful Dead show of all time. I have an original bootleg cassette that is only going to be played one more time - and that is to digitize it.....

I'm like three more posts like this from going out and offering to pay for the next ten abortions for women who need them.
What are, "Tough-guy things said on the internet that will never happen in real life," Alex.
Try me, it's not a high priority for me in terms of giving (bottom of the list, I don't care), but there's plenty that cant afford it and need it.

I'm a strange, often extreme person. Push boundaries all the time, consider it life "price discovery".
Pics/vids or it didn't happen.
We’re talking $5k, by year end I’ll have to chop up between $100k-$200k between myself and my sister from my mothers estate (house some checking accounts and some small life policies). I have more to Hobart in my dads name when he passed in 2012 freakishly only to have the bend me over (“no please name a locker in the renovated boswell field, in truth we only raised $1mm of the $10mm of the cost so far” only to have it removed inside of three years and no one could or would answer why, a mess up in hiring a president, ineffective/local/insular BOT and keeping our feckless AD around a decade too long) so given I expect an uptick in income from distressed debt work in the back half of the year I need to make a couple of donations anyways. My mother even asked to be cremated so didn’t even have funeral expense, just a few hundred bucks for a biodegrade container to drop her in the ocean. She was pro women’s rights so it would easily honor her.

I was thinking environment or something else but this isn’t hard for me, folks keep putting up fouls comments and pics on this and I suspect if I share with my sister she’ll throw in another $5k and get 20 in need-and she’s relatively broke compared with me.

PM me an address and I’ll tell the ladies to send a thank you note to your house and stay anonymous.
15 Months earlier and you coulda funded this woman's right to choice:

ggait wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 1:17 pm So the forecasts are starting to come out.

Sam Wang/Princeton (who totally biffed 2016) doesn't do a win probability. Has Joe at 356 median EC votes.

Economist has Joe at 88% in the EC and 98% for the pop vote. 343 median EC votes.

JHK Forecast has Joe at 85%. 343 median EC votes

PluralVote has Joe at 74%. 335 median EC votes.

538 (the best from 2016) does not have their forecast out yet.

To rehash 2016, 538 had it 79/21 on 6/26/2016, and 71/29 on 2016 Election day. 29% is not that unlikely -- chance of getting a six on one roll of one die is 17%.

Looking back on 538's model in 2016, the striking thing was how variable/dynamic the race was. Trump was 34% early June, 20% late June, 50% end of July, 12% mid-August, 45% late September, 12% mid-October, 35% on November 5.

TBD if 2020 will be a much more stable race or not.

Two week update.

TL/DR: Sleepy/Creepy increasing his lead slightly.

Sam Wang/Princeton has Joe up to 375 median EC votes.

Economist has Joe at 90% in the EC and 98% for the pop vote. 346 median EC votes.

JHK Forecast has Joe at 88%. 360 median EC votes.

PluralVote has Joe at 77%. 344 median EC votes.

LOL that reminds me of my sister spending days and days one summer converting my dad's LPs to cassettes for him.

There are lots of gadgets like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089W3N4YR/

Depending on the quality of tapes you might want to go with a different setup and find a stereo with an aux out to your computer's aux in. Then use a sound recording app and use a file format that's not as lossy as MP3. Also depending on what your time is worth you may want to take it to a local digitizer and pay them to do it.

Thanks. I'm sure if I used the google machine I'd have found something, but it falls off the to do list every day of my life. Will look into what I'd get charged, there's a few worth it at least, some not so much on a quality perspective. Have a Dylan and the Dead show from Foxboro from 1987 that just straight up sucks.

If only my kids were a little older and I could put them to real work...

It took me some time. Someone told me how to do it also. Now it’s my ‘signature’ post. Some guys probably wished I never learned. One of my best friend’s son went to Chappelle’s house for the taping of an upcoming show. He said his son had a ball. His son’s father in law is one of Chappelle’s favorite chefs and he gave him tickets.

Was it Nick Cannon? :)

I am enjoying that each time it’s quite the ten second clip now pops up again (cut from the sketch about the justice system flipped around - “uh, sir, I’ve never seen Michael Jackson’s penis but I’m sure I could describe it...He made thriller....yeah Beretta did that s**t...What would it take for you to believe R Kelly urinated on a teenage girl?).
