Something is very strange about Florida’s numbers. The number of days that the reported case is between 43-48 doesn’t seem right. Occasionally a higher number but stop stuck in the mid 40’s. I watched our tri state numbers daily when peaking for about a month. Nothing was that consistent. It’s strange.

heard a report a couple days ago, i think initiated from a whistleblower, that florida was hording some case numbers so they could have a blowout day or several and have a downtrend for 4th of july weekend.
don't know the veracity, guess we'll see.

It just seems odd. I watched NY/NJ/CT/MA/IL numbers daily for over a month. Nobody was stuck in such a narrow range each day.

The very next sentence, in your link, saying "roughly" about 1/4, or 25%, of that ICU number was due to v-19. That means the ICU would be at around 75% "full" without v-19 ?

Hospitals, like prisons, weren't designed to be empty, btw. Well, some of the Clinton Prisons for Profits can be empty, per contract, b/c they still will get paid as if....

Correct, which is why the possibility of exponential growth of C19 cases is so dangerous, and why mitigation efforts like masks and social distancing are so important.

RRR — the baseline for ICUs is 75% capacity more or less.

So those numbers indicate that Covid has used up basically all available capacity. If the cases are still climbing that is not good.

If you say so. Who knew Houston was such a small town. only 1300 ICU beds in all of Houston.

And, is this the case at ALL area hospitals, or just this one, TMC, chain ? ICU at ninety seven percent. Any other factors for this hospital, in particular? Is this where local prisoners go, who need care beyond the prison med wards capabilities? Or, perhaps an accident, major, happened nearby.

Or, maybe, next to a golf course, this ONE ninety seven percenter hospital. Wait for it.......old folks, walking around, NO carts, with masks on. Most USED caddies, so don't own, or think to own, a bag dolly. And the starter house is all out.....so, you walk it. Old man golfer didn't even know his cart bag had a strap. A video of one of the folks in the ICU, old man golfer saying, " Heck, Texas has had golf closed for how long, great to get away from the wife and kids. Ah.....golf. What's that sonny. Keep the MASK on. Ok, ok...."yes, 97 minutes later, the old folk, carrying his own bag, because NO caddies, because it's a fact, social distortion works NOT, ...and the old golfer gets heat exhaustion. Or heat stroke. forget which is worse. To top it all off, old man golfer was SO excited to be playing golf, finally, he forgot to take his AM big pharma pills. So sad. on his way to the 97 percenter hospital, old man golfer uttered "I was on my way to scoring a 97, for the front nine" ha ha, always a joker.

(whats' with this crowd and that number? Just a coinky doinky that the climate global change crowds ALSO uses ninety seven. Some university got a 40 million dollar grant to study what number people are likely to believe, the most. ninety nine seems to high, to sure. ninety eight, most have flashbacks to "darn, if I only had done the extra credit work, that's two points, would have been my first one hundred"....and such, so, ninety seven it is tested well. Hopkins was able to get new helmet decals and matching gloves because of that grant. _ for every game. inperpetuity awesomer

Something is very strange about the NY and NJ numbers. It says NY has had 32.000 deaths and NJ 13.000. Illinois MA and MI all up around 6-8,000. Also yesterday we saw independent press reports that NY is suppressing actual fatalities (TLD uninterested).

What’s even weirder is Florida has only 3.200 deaths with a far larger and older population than those (equal to NY) but gets 10x the fear porn press and posts. Strange. Someone help explain.

Masks do two things: perpetuate fear and accustom the people to obedience. Masks simply prolong the agony of a virus. .

Humans are built to develop herd immunity which can’t develop rapidly if people shelter and mask up.

What a clown car the left has become. I’d rather they loot stores and break statues than control health policy.

one of the things I noticed, not ONE west palm beach city councillor was wearing a mask. Yet, they made masks mandatory?

They are behind plexiglass. The issue is aerosolized breaths; the glass blocks it. I know you wanted to make some kind of point, and it was a good reach, but a fail. Have a good day.

Naturally occurring ecological herd immunity that humans are "built to develop" results from large numbers of infected and large numbers of susecptable infected individuals to perish. What is an acceptable number?

PB has shown us daily this sort of idiocy, all in the name of Trumpism.

When people say 'it can't happen here in America' you only need to look at how absolutely stupid the brown shirts, 'real Americans', for Trump are, with the truly evil 'smart' folks around him enabling Der Leader.

Apologies.

I’m that rare ‘Trumpist’ that only MD can find, the guy who says Joe Biden isn’t a bad cat and life for me wouldn’t change at all if he won. Oh also, I thought Obama was a great POTUS. I am some kind of Trumpist!!!

Meanwhile, in the aisle of Actual Dishonesty, we are still hunting for MD’s first ever positive post about a conservative Republican as MD says he’s a “Republican”. Could you at least say something positive about Tim Scott?
