If the Democrats take the WH and Congress, they'll pass laws outlawing speech they disapprove of. They'll seek to take your right to self-defense. They will begin to usher in what they really want which is a totalitarian state and the only people who will thrive are those with access.

Probably not much but I don’t want to go down the “I’ll show my economic study if you show me yours”. Back when I was much more (macro)economics focused I learned all sorts of ways to manipulate regression analysis (way back when using SAS was still cool) and still keep the R2 down of the surface. I know some degenerate will throw up some study off the QAnon or a breitbart website l, possibly not actually reading with comprehension what it says, and claim their view is true and get 3-4 other knuckleheads who may to may not even open the link but at best skim the headline and first few sentences and initiate confirmation bias.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 9:55 amWhat is Trump doing about these numbers:Farfromgeneva wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 9:49 amWhole lot of cabinet members and other senior appointed gigs that normally have a 2.5-6yr half life which hes whittled down to like 4mo avg to offer more old white folks the opportunity to put White House internship on their resume (if they want, Sessions clearly uses it).Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 9:14 pmWho has he hired?6ftstick wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 8:49 pmYou mean because more of them had jobs than ever before they dislike him. I don't generally care one way or the other about posters. You can post what you want and I won't rail you. Heck I like Brook a ton. I like Nancy Pelosi. I think Joe Biden is a great guy. I think Abigail Spanberger is awesome. Know what they all have in common? They're Democrats.
It's comically obvious how the media has warped the minds of most Dems; their go-to is a personal insult because they are no longer capable of tolerance and civility. When I post, I'm laughing for the most part, except when some of you lay into Lara Logan, which I find contemptible.

Sorry Petey Diversity runs both ways:
Statement on Prof. William Jacobson and Academic Freedom
Cornell Law School is a law school with values. In keeping with the core values of Cornell University, we value the diversity of our society and of our academic community, and we are committed to the values of the legal profession, including equal protection under the law. We see in the ongoing struggle of Black Americans a reflection of those values, and we embrace the goals of that struggle, as I said in my statement of just one week ago.
Cornell Law School’s commitment to these values goes beyond mere words — it is reflected in the Law School’s curriculum, its diverse student body, its administration, and the remarkable work of our faculty and clinics. We are proud of the Law School’s long record of confronting the racism and disproportionate racial impact of mass incarceration and the death penalty. We are grateful that distinguished practitioners work with Cornell Law School students to support racial justice advocates in a number of experiential courses. In light of this deep and rich tradition of walking the walk of racial justice, in no uncertain terms, recent blog posts of Professor William Jacobson, casting broad and categorical aspersions on the goals of those protesting for justice for Black Americans, do not reflect the values of Cornell Law School as I have articulated them. I found his recent posts to be both offensive and poorly reasoned.
We can simultaneously affirm our commitment to diversity and inclusion and equal justice while employing someone who has written the sorts of things about the protests that Professor Jacobson has, because, as an institution of higher learning, we also value academic freedom, which prevents us from censoring the extramural writings of faculty members. And we value job security for our clinical faculty. Both of these values are crucial to the work of all of our clinics, which operate in any number of controversial areas. Our unwavering commitment to these values means that all Cornell Law professors must be able to write and speak freely.
As an administrator, I do not share my views on a faculty member’s speech lightly, but it is important to make clear that the Law School’s commitment to academic freedom does not constitute endorsement or approval of individual faculty speech. But to take disciplinary action against him for the views he has expressed would fatally pit our values against one another in ways that would corrode our ability to operate as an academic institution.

An oxymoron if I ever heard one. I am not sure in the year 2020 that the words "lawyer" and "values" even belong in the same sentence.
I can't watch TV at night without being bombarded with every freaking law firm in the country trolling for potential "victims" that deserve substantial compensation because you may have freaking used baby powder, took xantax, were exposed to asbestos, were diddled by a priest, were the victim of the mesh used in hernia surgery and I could go on and on and on and on and on and on. If any lawyer had one iota of respectability and a conscience they would repudiate all of these mother effing ambulance chasing law firms. One thing that always holds true for lawyers, your all as thick as thieves when it comes to defending your practice and all of those values you hold so dear... GMAFB....

I feel like a couple of folks here at Fanlax may have donned blackface in their lives, and as is always the case, look to those who constantly, loudly, incessantly, obnoxiously claim others are racist to see who I'm referring to.
Obviously with zero basis, so clearly just trolling yet again.
or projection?
Like everything else, the person most caustic in accusing others of some offense is usually the one most guilty of it.
A dude screaming about abortion all day is usually the guy who has forced his girlfriends to have them.
The guy railing on about pornography usually has the largest stash of perversion in his basement.
And the guys like here at Fanlax who always claim 'others' are racist are the likeliest to have no black friends and have hired no black employees.
'lash out'
You have got to be kidding me, right? Who threatens to mute people around here all the time? Who uses personal insults every time a difference of opinion is posted? Who always goes for the personal on this board? Want help? It's the left.
I like bikers, guns, the Bill of Rights, patriots, dogs, conservative judges, southern women, and free speech. That's all. Sue me.
Carry on.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

I like the sentiment but I’m afraid the ‘heroes’ you choose aren’t exactly pictures of peace. “Nickels” seems to have been armed and reaching for his gun?
Anyway, cops will soon be replaced by robots and they won’t care too much when you shoot at them. In order to incapacitate the reckless lefty criminals, the robots will break your kneecaps. I’m all for it.
Atlanta is burning as we speak because a cop shot a career criminal who overpowered two cops and stole ones stun gun and shot at the cops. So the Democrats saw another opportunity to burn down a city. Same as it ever was.
