Not shooting the messenger here.

Is this not a glaring problem in today's volatile racism topic? Only black coaches for this position?
Woodson did interview for the job last cycle. Can't see Nat St. Laurent leaving ONU though.

Hampton's an HBCU school. It makes 100% sense to hire a person of color as head coach. There's one person of color as a head coach in men's college lacrosse, and that was at Hampton with Devoe until he left.

Who else would you add to that list then?
That is exactly my point. By that logic, most all other colleges are an HWCU, so does that mean only white coaches can fit? See where I am going.

Morgan State Lax had Coach Howard "Chip" Silverman, back in the 70's did just fine....and that was an entirely different era. And after his departure in 75', their W/L record went down hill.

Throw a dart at danged near any player roster in the PLL or MLL...many would do great, then hire Starsia as Associate/Mentor...he lives only a short 2 hours from there.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Myers seems to be having some trouble hanging onto assistants. Location? Pay? Hard to recruit there? Personality clashes?
Heard he’s not the easiest guy to work for... Nick Myers loves him some Nick Myers

That’d probably explain why Sheridan lasted less than a year

Spent some nice times in Lexington, thanks for asking.
Comment was less about the merits of the town and more about the differences in the programs, and cultures. You'd probably acknowledge that Hopkins and VMI are polar opposites.. No?

Pretty hard to be an effective OC when you aren't even allowed to coach EMO! Not sure what "quality" assistant other than a youngerish guy would be willing to do that.?

Coach Saint Laurent was an VMI assistant and then spent years at W&L, so knows the area. Is also a veteran. He'd be a great catch for VMI.

That's a good choice. He's leading 3D Lacrosse in Oregon now so not sure what his situation would be.

As for Lenwood117, Georgalas is probably ready for a head coaching opportunity. I was thinking he'd be the guy at Cornell before they went the interim route...again.

He's been at more stops than DeVoe- Can't see anyone going to Hampton if their funding is what has been described.

Not a big surprise, but Cornell is elevating Paolo Ciferri to their full-time assistant role per Chris Jast: https://twitter.com/Chris_Jast/status/1 ... 5904133120

Anything on other gigs? Been awfully quiet.
