Neutral grip means you can rake it quicker,
at least, that’s what I remember doing.
Re: Transfer Portal
Face off guys have so many moves that this probably won’t make much of a difference. The Faceoff Academy reaches the standing neutral grip pretty regularly - watching guerenlian in the MLL/PLL he’s done it.

The usual suspects have corralled the bulk of the top twenty d1 grads per IL rankings n top 15 undergrads* but there have been new entries since that publication. Notre Dame has moved up and Rutgers has entered the arms race with Kirst.

2) Nore Dame -- Gallagher (3) Yorke (12) Thornton (17) Leahey (24) plus return of Leonard (13)

Not sure, but I think he's on the offensive side.

A midfield is rumored to be on his way there. I am waiting for an announcement to see if it’s true. An impact midfielder.cuseman4133 wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 4:13 pmNot sure, but I think he's on the offensive side.
“I wish you would!”
Re: Transfer Portal
I think once you start adding in the fifth year seniors who are only eligible due to the NCAA's added eligibility, and not from previous red-shirting the rankings become much different. Unfortunately we don't know who all the returning extra 5th year seniors are.Farfromgeneva wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 9:47 pm

Some extra 5th year seniors
OSU - LeClaire, Terefenko, Henricks
PSU - O'Keefe, Arceri, Cardile, Kneese, Foulds
Syracuse - Reyfuss, Trimboli, Porter, Varello, Dearth
Virginia - Conners,
UMd - Grill
JHU - Williams
ND - Leonard
Add these in and you get a better picture, who is really winning from the NCAA's ruling.

Re: Transfer Portal
My list are just those who have gained the most from "free agency" in the transfer portal.
Some have really helped themselves with top talents that shored up areas. Others have added depth
True that some have more 5th yr returnees than others while some have lost good players with multiple yrs who are transferring out .
Once all is settled and known, preseason rankings will be incorporating and reflect all.

Re: Transfer Portal
I think one could look at the extra 5th year seniors as "free agents". They could go anywhere they want. They just tend to prefer to stay with their original team.
I think at the moment the real winners with respect to the extra year of eligibility are: Duke, Syracuse, OSU, PSU, Denver, and Notre Dame.
So far the top Ivy league teams have been the losers.

Re: Transfer Portal
Those are six you list. Only four make the Final 4. Wouldn’t it be great if an Ivy like Cornell, Penn or Yale snuck in there? Or a Georgetown or Nova? And UVA and UNC And UMD don’t even make your list. My point is next year will be wide open. Who gels? Which coaches get the most out of these studs? Remember when Loyola won it the year before Spencer got there? Beat Maryland 9-3 in the final. 9-3!
Re: Transfer Portal
loyola won in 2012.
if aitken by rule and desire is back, uva returns 2 first eam all-americans as 5th years and have a big pick up.
will be interesting to review this thread.
