1. I, too, listened to that game. Denver was known for an aggressive, pressing defense. I thought that Cornell would shred that kind of defense with its passing game. It did.
2. If memory serves, there were two Dr. Doctors in Norwalk, CT, when I lived in that area. Husband and wife, I think. Now there's just one, an ophthalmologist. A daughter?

SimCornell downs SimYale 17-11 in the final of the SimILT, avenging a one-goal loss at SimSchoellkopf.

Connor Fletcher, Jeff Teat and Brandon Salvatore were all drafted by the MLL this evening. The pick numbers suggest that the teams might not have a high conviction that these players will be available next year:
Connor Fletcher: Round 3, Pick 15
Jeff Teat: Round 5, Pick 25
Brandon Salvatore: Round 6, Pick 32
Connor Fletcher: Round 3, Pick 15
Jeff Teat: Round 5, Pick 25
Brandon Salvatore: Round 6, Pick 32

faircornell - I hope you are correct, but the pick numbers can also mean they are a lean toward the PLL.

Something for the Big Red fans. The Piatelli brothers have basically been going full on Rocky IV in their backyard this spring. Nice little set up they've got.

And in the SimSeason SimNCAA's, #1 SimCornell will take on SimBU, winner of today's play-in game against SimMarist.
I spent many an hour in Lynah Rink cheering on the Big Red hockey team against the hated Terriers, at the time also in the ECAC hockey league. Too bad this game isn't happening in the real world!

Heard from a good source that Teat will be back in Ithaca for the 2021 season. Big endowments are a good thing to have............

Very mysterious! I hope you're right … not sure how the endowments help (CU still doesn't even have an indoor practice facility!) ...oldbartman wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 10:36 pm Heard from a good source that Teat will be back in Ithaca for the 2021 season. Re: Cornell 2020
I doubt that there’s a simRule which would prevent this proposal: Hold the simGame versus SimBU in simLynah Rink. Talk about intimidating

Re: Cornell 2020
Y'know, come to think of it, PM's departure for JHU may help this kind of decision. JT41 has been around CB and JS for a long time. No doubt he understands what success in next year's "interim" season means to them. He has ties to the rest of the team, who like him, lost a legitimate shot at a NC. And he has his own goals about unfinished business this year. (I'm looking at you, Morgan Barron.) The PLL and MLL are not so lucrative to make such considerations non-starters.dp68 wrote: ↑Thu May 07, 2020 11:55 amLet's hope you're right, and that there will be a 2021 season.oldbartman wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 10:36 pm Heard from a good source that Teat will be back in Ithaca for the 2021 season.
