Drip, drip, drip. You just knew this was going to happen. Who wants to bet there is a ton more to come? Anyone thinking that Trump knows the dirt and that's why he questioned/dared Obama to come out and throw his support to Joe?
Yo, a fan, I smell blood in the water. An avid Democrat now supporting her former neighbor's contention that Biden assaulted Tara Reade. This isn't some whackjob conservative out to get Joe.
How the Dems gonna continue to support Joe, I mean assuming they care about #MeToo and all that? Where is Joe's fan support now when he needs it most?!

"I personally am a Democrat, a very strong Democrat," she said. "And I'm for Biden, regardless. But still I have to come out and say this."
Democrats, the #MeToo party according to you, are gonna support Biden, a guy who's been accused of sexual assault by a woman nearly 30 years ago.
Republicans, the Family Values party, are gonna support a guy who's been accused of raping or sexually assaulting dozens of women and was constantly cheating on his wives and girlfriends.
If there are independent single issue voters on this topic, who do you think they're gonna vote for?

Nothing, yet. I'm still just a one-man band.
Two weeks after the Intercept first broke the story, and after the world first heard the details of what allegedly happened to Reade in interviews with Katie Halper and Rising’s Krystal Ball, the national, mainstream outlets that had covered Reade’s allegation could be counted squarely on both hands: Yahoo News, Newsweek, the Huffington Post, Vox, the Economist, the Guardian, and Democracy Now!, which interviewed Reade.

Yeah, Trump seems to be in a uniquely weak position to attack Joe as being old, dumb/senile/losing it, and an abuser of women. If there are independent single issue voters on this topic, who do you think they're gonna vote for?
But despite living in a glass house, Trump will deploy his big campaign war chest to throw lots of stones at Joe to depress Dem and indy turnout. Worked against Hillary.
Boycott stupid. If you ignore the gator troll, eventually he'll just go back under his bridge.

Uh oh. You forgot....again..... to check how many stories JacobinMag has run on Tara Reade.Peter Brown wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 1:48 pm Two weeks after the Intercept first broke the story, and after the world first heard the details of what allegedly happened to Reade in interviews with Katie Halper and Rising’s Krystal Ball, the national, mainstream outlets that had covered Reade’s allegation could be counted squarely on both hands: Yahoo News, Newsweek, the Huffington Post, Vox, the Economist, the Guardian, and Democracy Now!, which interviewed Reade.

Wanna take a guess?
This Jacobin piece is clickbait for guys like you...and you fell for it. And you think this "proves" the media won't cover the story.
Why does this nonsense resonate with you so much that you don't bother seeing if outlets like JacobinMag actually covered the Tara Reade story themselves...before they run stupid stories accusing other publications of "not covering the story enough".
Why doesn't JacobinMag the Federalist, and others you keep citing, simply get off their *sses and actually cover the Reade story themselves? Where's their work on this story?
Simple. They make MORE money by telling guys like you that "the media is bad", because that's what you REALLY want to hear, and could give two figs as to whether or not a woman was actually sexually assaulted. So they don't bother covering the actual story.

Just for esses and giggles am I replying.
I go down this online road with you frequently, where you say 'something' doesn't exist, someone (not on the left) points out multiple demonstrable facts to you that in fact 'it' does exist, then you merely claim you win the argument anyway. More amusing than annoying, but depending on the time of day, tiring.
So to keep matters simple, I went to The Federalist website, I typed in "Tara Reade" into the search bar, and up pops NINE (9) articles on Tara Reade.
https://thefederalist.com/?s=Tara+Reade
Please surprise the board and fall on your sword here. Once?
Re: 2020 Elections - CoronaPause
Did you bother reading the Federalist piece?
All that they're doing is reporting that another publication---Business Insider-----actually got off their duffs and, you know, actually did their jobs.
From the Federalist "story": Lynda LaCasse, a former neighbor and Lorraine Sanchez, a former colleague of Reade’s on Capitol Hill both told Business Insider that Reade came forward to them with her story in the mid-1990s, keeping consistent with the story Reade has reported of her experience.
The second Federalist piece pulls the same stunt....this time citing The Intercept's actual reporting on the subject.
I'm not going to bother looking at the next one.
So this story is SO important to the Federalist...that they can't be bothered to actually generate one single piece of original journalism on Reade's allegations.
Care to try again? Or are you just going to admit you got sucked in by clickbait that tells you "the media is doing it wrong".

I think Pence and Azar will be blamed for Trump ignoring his Daily briefings. And Trump’s cratered with women.

I can see Biden staying out of sight and quiet for the next month. And when he returns to the campaign trail he will present a voice of empathy and unity. o d just can't express any believable empathy, but he can attack. Does the fringe voter want attacks or unity?
Does Biden have his VP by the end of May?
POTUS race starts Memorial Day. Can o d rally around the flag? Look for both to be highly visible on that holiday, as the public is starting to trust each other and go back outside.

Americans need a president upon whom they can rely on for factual information regarding the state of the nation. Instead, Donald Trump delivers a daily dose of dangerous and ill-informed nonsense.

YA. You have to understand that this is just crazy talk right? Sometimes your views of this thing you call the left make me wonder if you have any friends or acquaintances on the left. No one on the left wants Trump to be the President. They know that the country's institutions will not survive four more years of this. Not trolling.youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 11:02 amThat is what the left wants....they like having Trump as POTUS, he is a distraction and they ultimately get what they want.Peter Brown wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 8:23 am Interesting takeaways from this article:
