How many of these dead pastors are going to be interned in the US Capitol Rotunda? Or, in the nation of freedom of religion, can there only be ONE America's pastor? How much did Franklin Graham inherit, when dad died? only the lord god our sheepherder will know, for sure.

I heard a blurb on the news today about a new protocol. Patients in cardiac arrest may not be code blued do to a lack of resources to commit to the intensive work it takes to do so. I have heard no verification of this being true. Ii do know that a code blue takes intense effort and time from medical folks who are stressed to the limit already.jhu72 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 4:06 pm Blood clots seem to be a major factor in COVID death. It is a lie, sorry if you think I am screaming it. There is zero proof that social distancing is flattening the curve.
You can't even come up with what would prove that social distancing is working.
The ONLY way to test your theory.....is to just go about business as normal with zero changes.
And even then? What would you come back with if infections and deaths went through the roof? You'd come back with "so what, people die all the time".
And yet you wonder why no one wants to try your path.....
Yeah, I don't seem to care, at all..........about anything.
And, I blame tRump for me not caring. Don't you

I'd be remiss if I didn't pump my favorite stock, Gilead, at least once a day.
The second clinical trial had very promising results too! Man, I tell you, the free market is a beautiful thing.

This is pointless. You still have the fecebook book mindset. It's impossible to discuss anything, or anyone, with this mindset.a fan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 4:07 pmYep. Three times now. And every time I ask, you get mad, give me sentences that I don't understand, and don't answer the question.
I'll try again, get even more specific:
You're telling us that we can't prove that social distancing is helping to keep hospitals for being overwhelmed. Great. So what do you propose, for example, the governor of NY should have been doing all this time? You're suggesting he should have done nothing, and just see what happens, right?
What is the opposite of "do nothing" ? Do EVERYTHING ?
Hospitals ARE being overwhelmed, aren't they? Or, are you forgetting the pictures, posted on this very thread, of dead bodies stacked up.....blah blah blah.
You know what the governor of NY should have been doing all this time? Wearing a gosh darn PPE during his daily press conferences. b/c, they matter, right. You feel confident in your air supply system, at work, that it will filter out the guys delivering your boil to make hand cleaner, outside, on the loading dock.......coughing, because masks keep the droplets from.........geebus.

This is why it’s better to be closer to someone when they sneeze! You want to be really close when they don’t cover their nose....honestly....you may even want to get closer and open your mouth to catch their sneeze. Being further away is pointless.runrussellrun wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 4:26 pmThis is pointless. You still have the fecebook book mindset. Entering Phase III, which is when they actually get to efficacy.
Sounds like it's at least helpful, nothing else so far has been so even some help would be important.
This was long considered far more likely to have some benefit than hydroxychloroquine. Folks on here said so early.
Definitely not a miracle cure, unfortunately, but good is better than not!
However, there appear to be some other approaches more promising still...which is also a very good thing.

And Gilead got their money for this research from......who?
Government handouts staring you in the face. And you still can't see it.
The FDA's granting of orphan status for remdesivir as a treatment for COVID-19 came with financial incentives for Gilead that include tax breaks, waiver of FDA fees and market exclusivity for seven years if the drug is approved. New drug molecules typically only get five years of this exclusivity.

BTW, US taxpayers are suing your super awesome "free market" company for IP theft. Might want to put that into your stock pricing.

Your linked story is two days old and as a result, a very sad attempt to look intelligent; ie: before the second clinical trial's results were released.

Biden is up 52-42 among 65+ year old voters.
2016 exits had Trump 57-40 over Hillary with 65+ Fla voters

Not the correct thread, but Trinity, I don't like to see grown men cry, so a word of advice: don't bet on Florida for a Democrat for at least 3 more presidential election cycles.

Just stop complaining about big government and big handouts. You like both quite a bit.
