I took it seriously & feared it would arrive here eventually when I saw this.

When I drove my wife to BWI on Jan 18 for her flight to FL, I told her I was glad we had a car down there because she'd probably need to drive back home, ...which she did, a month later.

I began social distancing & avoilding public gatherings as soon as the first case popped in the US.

After watching this, I clicked on a similar youtube coronavirus feature and then went down the rabbit hole called comments. In those comments I found a reference to a game one can play on any chosen tech device called Plague Inc. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it on this thread but it looks like a simulation type game where the overall goal is to infect the world with a pathogen. Eerie!

So R3 points to a NYPost article from March 28 pointing out 3 NYPD deaths as of that date, and fan comes back with an article form the same source on April 13 pointing out 22 NYPD deaths as of that date. What does your knowledge of Shermans March to the Sea tell you? If your a Yankee like me, he has always been a hero. If you are a southerner whose family members and non combatants suffered through the carnage of the march, Sherman was a war criminal. He skirted the edges of his authority and his men acted more like an out of control mob than a disciplined army. War is hell and Gen Sherman sure proved that. Right or wrong Gen Shermans crusade through the south has never been forgotten and never been forgiven all these years later by the folks of the south. The end justifies the means as the saying goes.

While stretching yesterday in the public park, overheard the conversation of 3 people. Talking about the value of education. How UN-educated people are hurting society. Other elitist nonsense.

I was actually laughing, they were such stereotypical pretends. Finally, asking them, since they came next to me, while I was stretching, in my best Ferris, "Yeah, education IS important. Are you talking actual life experience as education , coupled with college degrees, or just college degrees alone".
