On the issue of relocation.

States that are using cost savings as a motivator like S.C. and AL are essentially failed economies. These moves hurt GDP and wage growth which has left purchasing powe fiat for four decades thanks to very short sighed pomicjes that have gutted the middle class.

Prosperity depends on education and increased productivity to be achieved. You can’t cut your way to prosperity you produce rather the opposite

The financial system failed in 2007. Lots of tributaries. In response we nationalized the debt as did many other countries. They escaped a reckoning they deserved

Ten minutes at the teleprompter: Inside Trump’s failed attempt to calm coronavirus fears

In the most scripted of presidential settings, a prime-time televised address to the nation, President Trump decided to ad-lib...

Even Trump — a man practically allergic to admitting mistakes — knew he’d screwed up by declaring Wednesday night that his ban on travel from Europe would include cargo and trade, and acknowledged as much to aides in the Oval Office as soon as he’d finished speaking, according to one senior administration official and a second person, both with knowledge of the episode.

Trump’s speech contained at least two errors and a significant omission. He said the travel ban would apply to cargo; it did not.
And he did not fully explain the details of his travel restrictions, leaving out the fact that U.S. citizens would be exempt.

Stylistically, the president himself seemed ill at ease... struggling to read words on the teleprompter.

It's why I keep saying Trump and Congress have to do something NOW, BEFORE the damage snowballs...
What do you think would be helpful?
Bush cut checks. Start there. $1K per month for every tax filer, at a minimum. That's around $140 Billion per month. That would have a HUGE impact.
And just like that, Tulsi Gabbard makes the EXACT suggestion I did. Seems like someone is actually thinking in DC.

The coronavirus pandemic has created a threat to the health and well-being of the American people, as well as to our country’s economic stability. While some in Washington are focused on taking care of Wall Street, everyday Americans get left behind. That’s wrong. Instead, we must act swiftly to provide a temporary universal basic payment of $1,000 per month to every American adult to help them weather the storm created by this crisis

Edit to add-------for FoxNation fans like 6ftstick who think that this whole thing is a ploy to get Trump out....

All Trump has to do is make that payment $3K per month. He can buy the election, and no one would complain.

If I'm Trump, I'd make it $5k per month. Totally serious. It's not like he cares how we pay the borrowed money back....

Not joking, this would work!

But it is too easy, so no one will do it.

Don't put words in my mouth.

However this originated it is "now" the media and democrats latest attempt at a Trumpectomy.

To deny that denys reality. Why I make the point about H1 N1. 1000 Americans had already died and the press was still applauding Obama. No school closings no sports shut down. No economic crash.

Would you get a new job, sell a house, buy a house....or make any other major financial decision or purchase in the coming months?

Trump and Congress better do something big, and fast. Robbing Medicare and SS ain't gonna cut it.

Good thing we blew Trillions of dollars on nothing over the past 3 years. Oh, and those tax cuts were just brilliant....good thing we don't have a way to pay back the stimulus package that they are prepping.

The FIRST thing Trump should do is immediately end all of the recently imposed Tariffs. At the very least all non-China tariffs. He gets to save face by blaming it on the virus....
Mnuchin says no consideration is being given to rolling back tariffs.

Dude. You don't get it. If Trump does an adequate job, and hold the economy together and keeps this virus at a minimum? He will have a MASSIVE advantage in the election. There's no "faking" your way out of this....either for Donald, or for your idea that the Media is trying to take him down.

Our President has to actually do his job. Something you seem to be unwilling to understand. He does his job? He wins. You should be thrilled, since you think R's can do no wrong.

COVID-19 is 170x deadlier than H1N1. H1N1 had a mortality rate of 0.02%. COVID-19 has a mortality rate of around 3.4% right now. Even if that ends up being 1%, that's 50x deadlier than H1N1.

COVID-19 is also more contagious than H1N1

COVID-19 has the potential to kill a heck of a lot more people than H1N1 could. That's why here in reality we should be cautious about it, pro-active in preventing its spread and not make it a partisan thing like you're doing.

Actually N1H1's mortality rate at .02% is lower than a "good year" flu of about .05%. But we have been over all this before. "The severity doesn't matter".

Gushing, non-stop praise no matter what Trump does. FoxNation can't get enough of him. As a result? Trump polls higher than Reagan did among registered Republicans.

I'll try again: if Trump does a good job with this virus, he will win the election. Voters will decide how he did, not the media.

In what specific ways has he down the job quite well. Factual and detailed, not “he’s deregulated” or “brought manufacturing jobs back” (factually untrue, manufacturing jobs are lower here) or “the tax cut” (which was written by congress when they were saying “he will sign anything we put in front of him”).

Specifically and in detail in what ways has he down the job quite well that can hold up to sunlight? Please describe in detail and be accurate.

And for the record, having a larger lucky rabbits foot shoved up his a** than Eli Manning did the two times he played the Patriots in Super Bowls does not qualify as doing a job quite well.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah
