I hope I am wrong, but probably all of them.

Yep. Hogan took the State down today for legit reasons. It was well done and I hope preventative for all, but Lax will suffer. God bless to all. See you all in 2021.

The season seems over. RIP MIAA.

Season on hiatus until April 10. To be re-evaluated then.
If things are better, games could resume by April 20.
But I think that is wishful thinking.

Looking at Duke's roster , did not see any MIAA players. I think last player was Deemer Class in 2016. Does Danowski and his above the rest of us son attempt to recruit MIAA players ? You would think Duke would be a good fit for many private school players.

While the MIAA still sends a fair number to major DI programs, as the sport has grown, the old hotbeds no longer supply nearly the percentage of players to major DI programs as they did in the past. Calvert Hall and BL remain well represented, but I don't see quite the numbers coming from the rest of the league. My old school used to send its best players to programs like Hopkins, Virginia, Maryland, etc., but the last alumni publication I received listed seniors scheduled to play DI, and none of these schools appeared. I believe one was scheduled to go to Marquette, maybe one to Towson.
Growth is part of the reason. There are simply more good hs players from more schools. There was never anything in the water in Baltimore that produced better athletes playing hs lax, but it was simply a largely regional sport. While I don't think the spread to new areas represents more of a spread in geography than demographics, there has been a shift towards better athletes over players who grew up playing at a younger age.
Duke was never as heavily MIAA as UVA and North Carolina. UNC, with its Loyola Blakefield coach and familial pipeline from Calvert Hall, still gets its share of MIAA players, but UVA, historically heavy on MIAA players, had only about seven Maryland residents on this year's team, with only the goalie, who went to St. Paul's, seeing much time.

I feel the same. It's like my calendar has conspired against me. I wake up each morning and look at my new day in my calendar and... Another great game staring me in the face (that I wrote a while ago). It's tortuous.

Now that Dave Pietramala has been let go by Hopkins, what are the odds that Bryan Kelly gets an interview over on Charles Street? He would be a great choice due to X’s and O’s as well as recruiting the Baltimore Metro area.

As head coach?!
That would certainly be an "out of the box" choice.

I say the chances are zero. Even if Hopkins were to make such a choice (UNC alum with zero D1 college coaching experience) Kelly has his day job (Kelly Associates) and while coaching (CHC and FCA) takes up a great deal of his time it's not full time. Coaching at D1, especially Hopkins would be a change of life style. On top of all that, why would he look to leave CHC where he has built such a dynasty anayway.

Would have been a more interesting possibility if Hunts was still there. Would he and Joel T have tried to talk BK into atleast applying for it?? But for all the reasons above, not to mention other college and pro experienced coaches, very doubtful.
