Why don't more teams spread it out like Cuse just did and throw it around a wider perimeter to create more space in the middle? Even when they're not stalling at the end.

The curse is over for the Orange. First win for Syracuse over Maryland since 2012 and 2nd win total (both at College Park).

10-5 SU. Painful game to watch at times, but I think the experience factor was just enough to get SU over the line.

You can see why Reese wanted to duck this game and reschedule for later in the season.

Congrats to Cuse. A VERY well deserved win. The lacrosse gods got one right.

Have to say, I consider it to be the irony of ironies for people to complain about the trolling of Maryland the past few days. First of all, it was well earned by the cheap stunt they pulled. Second, Maryland fans pretty much invented wlax trolling. They have been trolling Northwestern for 15 years. They were the originators of all that Evil Empire, Death Star, Evilston, Darth Vader (or was it Darth Shorts), etc. nonsense. What goes around comes around.

It was indeed painful. Nice to see them close it out strongly and smartly. Much concern going forward however. There's such a volatile nature to their makeup. They look like gangbusters one minute and Keystone cops the next. This doesn't look like a team that will challenge for it all in May. Too inconsistent--too unpredictable. A good team would have put them away in this one.

I agree. Unless there is a huge change with this team's consistency, they might, might make the Final Four. But I don't see them right now getting to the final, much less winning it.

I actually wrote earlier that I didn't like that SU fans were going on twitter attacking the Terps WLAX team. Yes, it was irritating for them to not come up, but that doesn't mean Orange fans should act like that.

I wasn't too thrilled at SU Athletics for sending us down there. Yeah, they did win, but thought at the time they should have just cancelled.

The only place that would have more turnovers is the Salvadoran panederia in Langley Park just down Rt. 193 ....

Surprising. It's always been an advantage for the Terps to play at home in years past. This team looks different this year. Confidence was lacking even with the high turnover number for Syracuse. They looked exposed, holes everywhere on the field, compared with other years.

Didn't see this one, don't get BTN+, was going to watch it on the ACCN but it snowed. Well, it didn't but....
Couldn't take the pressure, just waited to see the outcome, couldn't be happier, Cuse got the job done, did what they had to do. Congrats Cuse gals. Should be a safe trip back, all's clear here.

Just an observation, not a criticism – you have a tendency to see things through orange colored glasses when watching games. It’s totally understandable. But as a semi neutral observer, I could see that Maryland was making just as many screw ups as Syracuse.
