Tough 12-11 loss for York today. They went up 3-0 in the first 5 minutes and then it was down hill from there.

They pushed back into it from down 7-4 to being 10-10 with 5 minutes left in the game. But Stevenson hung tough.

It was a very physical game. Lots of chippy play and the Stevenson crowd came out loud as it was a close drive for a frequent foe.

Lots for Coach Childs to work on this week for another strong foe in Gettysburg. It won’t get easier for a while. Time to fix some stuff.

Well the statement still stands.

In other news the one bright spot for me (other that being at the game with my sons) was seeing the young York goalie take it down himself and pot a goal, that was fantastic.

Tough loss for York; I thought they would have more to show. All the other games went how I thought
they would. It will inject some reality into the preseason polls for sure.

As for Bates I think they played just how they are. The RIT Canadians are just always that consistent
if you don't shock them and stay on them they will put your lights out.

Taking W&L, Ursinus, Wesleyan, Cabrini,Lynchburg,Gettysburg
Best game could be York / Lynchburg, both extremely well coached teams.

W&L - both defenses will be tested but W&L should control FO’s for the difference
Ursinus - CNU close but not yet. They know to control that big middie
Wesleyan - Bates shaky
Cabrini - watched Dickinson lost on defense, suspect goal play and eye opening TOs. Man-up not good..
LYN - Hornets @ home, healthy and hungry knowing they should have won last week. York O won’t put up enough.
Stevenson - they are feeling it, will come in swoll and chirpy taking Gburg out of their flow..

W&L- neither team can afford to lose- W&L based on coaching
Ursinus- CNU this is a toss up- no pick
Wesleyan-Bates seems discombobulated
Cabrini-Just plain better than the devils
Lynchburg-Hornets might have something going this year
Stevenson-Mustangs will try to make thing chippy. Gettysburg will fall for it.

Going to the the Ursinus game tomorrow picking them by 4
Following Cabrini, picking by 10, Dickinson can't score without the ball which I hear is a problem.

F&M vs W&L: 15-13 F&M. W&L will dominate the x and control the possessions but I think the two AA attackman for F&M prove too much
Ursinus vs CNU: 16-11 Ursinus looks to be a very good team. Imo people are too high on CNU currently. This game reveals the CNU is not in the Top 20 discussion just yet.
Wesleyan vs Bates: 15-10. Wesleyan takes it. Loss of Chlastawa brings down Bates half a step.
Cabrini vs Dickinson: 16-9. Cabrini had a great win against a 8-12 ranked Lynchburg team. Think this game is somewhat competitive, but Cabrini ends up winning by a decent margin.
York vs Lynchburg: 11-14. Lynchburg takes this one. #28 is as dominant an offensive player as there is right now. think the Lynchburg D buckles down against the York offense
Gettysburg vs Stevenson: 10-9 Gettysburg. Stevenson shows they belong in the top 15, but falls just short
