Well, logged on to Laxpower and saw just 4 users. Then a "safe mode" format. Then a General Error that "this page does not exist."
So I wonder- was that it?! Did Active finally pull the plug? If so, I get a bit sad, but the previous Moderator said to expect it.

Tis too bad to lose all those good old conversations.
I think the smart money is on it being over.
As reiterated by many people, many times, Active doesnt care about fitness, lacrosse, any of its apps or programs they just want registration fees and "transactions."
And if you dig a little deeper it sounds like a good chunk of money is made off of unwanted auto-renews and being bastards at giving refunds.

A sad end to a venerable "gathering place".I started out on January 6th,2005. Along the way, I made a few posts that were venial, some were abrasive, many were intensely sarcastic and once in great while, I may have accidentally put up a post that made sense.

I hope a substantial number of former LP members port their opinions, energy, and wisdom to this site.

The loss of Laxpower really crushes the HS coaches and fans. The scoreboard feature for HS was outstanding and made finding schedules and doing scouting very easy. Can't say I am surprised by their demise as those in charge and the admins in the forum carried out questionable practices towards many of its members. Thankful for FanLax however. Anyone know the best spot to find HS lax schedules and info now that LP went the way of the Dodo? Maxpreps?
