The live double album is so great.

This version of So Lonely was always a favorite of mine

I believe this song was once the TV broadcast featured song for the D1 men's lax finals. Man, it rocks!

If we need that extra push over the cliff, ya know what we do...eleven, exactly.

"Sweet Home Alabama" seems to be a favorite among the trashy foul smelling red necks here in Lake Wobegone. Radio stations play it every day. When they do I turn down the volume and put on "Southern Man" by Neil Young.

Will be seeing Janes along w Smashing Pumpkins this fall (Robert Plant in 2.5 weeks but while it’s on the bucket list I’m preparing to be disappointed or lowering expectations there) so in basic training for when I go balls to the wall for Three Days and in reading this piece realize I’ve been exposed (and this author doesn’t realize I’m the King Kong of thirstiness):

That’s the song “Love Trilogy,” from The Uplift Mofo Party Plan. That part’s the third part of the trilogy. Listen, I took very detailed notes during my deep dive into the Red Hot Chili Peppers discography, and My love is my dick in my hand is the general tenor of the notes I took. Who is the bigger hornball? The famous hornball rock band, or the mild-mannered civilian guy cherry-picking the Hornballest, the Hornballerest, the Hornballiest lines from the hornball rock band’s catalog? Think it over. Anyway, for your reference, here’s what Jane’s Addiction sounded like in 1987.

For the 3-4 folks around the boards who aren’t afraid of those rapper types, KRS One, aka Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everybody, has a new album out. 56yrs old and monkey stomping these trap hop biker boys like Bobby Shmurda and Keith Ape.

The intro to the album, otherwise titled as The Beginning

Both are great songs but the lyrics of Sweet Home Alabama intending to rebut Southern Man are lame as lame can be.
