I’m half way through Doom Patrol in Max this week and it’s weird but good as well. Alan Tudyk is a main but underutilized character, not many stars, Brendan Fraser in a metal suit. But, I know you’ll like one of the main stars TLD, can’t tell if she’s Indian, Persian or maybe even Hispanic but she’s fine as hey ya! And her character has 64 personalities so one has to make you smile at least!

User interface on Max (most online video) is trash. Either be super targeted or live and die with the algo.

Will take a look. HBO Max app is just not very user friendly.

Why every Catholic should watch HBO's 'Raised by Wolves'

It was excellent. A wild show and thought provoking. The last episode was insane.

The Lady and the Dale.

https://www.pajiba.com/tv_reviews/the-s ... n=features

Hollywood is so desperate to give us a trans hero & normalize that lifestyle that they turn a grifter con artist sociopath into a folk hero.

Entertaining & amusing, in an ironic way, thanks to the innovative documentary & cartoon format.

Compelling family dynamic. Like Manson without the murders.

Lisey's Story- A good watch, Entertaining enough.

But the usual Stephen King, where he tries to get too complex and weird with no real explanation.

Olde show on HBO called Prodigal Son I picked up recently because the (one of) main actor named Michael Sheen that I think highly of. (He was the good Angel in bad omens on Amazon prime).

Pretty good line in late first season where he’s a gifted surgeon in hip for being a serial killer but dreaming a nightmare and flips it:

Martin: I just realized something. This might be a nightmare, but it's my nightmare, and I'm not a regular person, am I?

Young Malcolm: No, you're not. You're a predatory psychopath.

Martin: That's right, and what does that mean?

Young Malcolm: That you're always in control.

Martin: Yes. I am. You know I once told my son monsters don't exist, but that was a lie. You know the truth, don't you?

Girl in the Box: What are you going to do?

Martin: I'm going back to my family, of course. They need me. My boy.

Second season of doom patrol conversation between two characters (Cliff Steele-made of metal after racing accident except brain voice of Brendan Fraser and character named Vic Stone whos half robot from his doctor dad):

No. There's this woman.

Roni. That's her place.

We were seeing each other.

I'm so glad you feel comfortable sharing this.

There's been this unspoken bet between all of us about whether or not
you have a shlong.

We were seeing each other and then I...I kind of just freaked out.

Took off. Man, I just... I can't stop thinking about her.

Ah. Patch-up job. What's the plan? Sandwiches?

I mean, we were supposed to go for subs when I stood her up. So I figured I'd get these as a kind of gesture, you know.
- Better late than never, right?

- Smooth...as a sandpaper strap-on.

Hey, yo, man, what's up? Hey, that's wasteful.

Look, I know I may not look it anymore, but I used to be good
at getting the ladies and even better at getting them to forgive me.

All right. So what's your plan?

You're gonna go in there. You're gonna knock on her door. And then you will say, "I'm stupid. I heck up. I'm sorry."

What? That's it?

Bro, it's verbal Astroglide. Steele and Stone forever.

Update - Doom Patrol might be the best comic book adaption on tv.

And yes HBO app sucks balls. There’s a reason for it.

Duncan is hilarious...reminds me of Zachary Galifianakis in Hangover.

New limited series, about Balt cops and Freddie Gray called We Own This City.

Big fan of Bernthal and think he hits that goofy Balt accent where they struggle with articulating “Os” in words pretty well.

EXCELLENT SHOW. Josh Charles is also perfect as a di**bag B-More Cop. He makes arrests, bottom-line.

Just watched up to the 5th episode this week. Another excellent show from David Simon. I knew the Baltimore accent was similar to Philly and Delco accents, but was not prepared to hear just how similar. This show is making me want to go back and re-watch The Wire.

I just stumbled upon Barry. Clever, understated Hollywood spoof with Bill Hader & Heny Winkler.
3 seasons with 8 x 25 min episodes each season. Don't start watching until you have time available to watch in blocks of at least 4 hours.
Don't need Max to view all 3 seasons, to date, ...at least not yet.

Phenomenal show. Bill Hader and Henry Winkler are so understatedly good!
