 You're criticizing what YOU told us, Pete. You told us to shut up, and don't jump to conclusions until found guilty.

You've also told us that every DA in America is corrupt. Remember that one?

Yet here you are, ignoring your own advice because Gillum is a Dem. It's what you do.

I read your posts, and feel nothing but pity. You live a sad, shallow life...governed entirely by little D's and R's. If there was no party system in the US? You wouldn't know what to do with your life. You would be incapable of judging or understanding what our politicians do without those stupid letters.
Peter Brown wrote: Thu Jun 23, 2022 12:38 pm What I am opining on is his previous character flaw always calling Republicans ‘racists’ ‘criminals’ etc. Andrew never passed up a chance to negatively personalize every single action and activity in Florida.
Sounds like someone we know, Pete. Who's the guy who's always calling Dem criminals, not normal, a threat to America, etc.?

Like I said, I’m not opining on the case, the prosecutor, nor Gillums guilt. I am opining on his character. If you always call your opponents ‘racists/sexists/etc’, don’t expect pity when you trip. He’s well earned the scorn.

And I don’t have anger-fire if and when I call Democrats ‘lunatics’…that’s a rather objective term of endearment. No one really disagrees with that assessment anyway.

 Yeah, that's not what you said, my man....you were all over his indictments, and didn't say one word about innocent until proven guilty.

You can't help yourself. One set of PeteRules for R's. One set of PeteRules for D's.

And there are millions just like you....ripping our country apart over stupid, pointless political parties.

You are once again reaching into that fevered leftist brain to try to assign invented words and messaging to others when no one has said anything like that. It’s a very bizarre trait you have, which you should try to correct.

I have never said ‘he’s guilty of the charges’. Please find me where I declaratively stated he was guilty (‘seems he may have been up to something’ does not equal ‘guilty’, btw). If you can’t find that sentence, then let’s see if you have the humility to come back here and apologize. I’ll wait.

You're just embarrassed because you forgot that you pulled the "ever hear of innocent before proven guilty" card when we were discussing a Republican who was clearly corrupt.

But when it happens to a Dem, you gleefully run down the list of indictments, and tell us the Fed has him "dead to rights".

It's your worldview. I have NO idea why you're trying to pretend that it isn't. You're proud of this worldview of yours, Pete.

As for the "show me where I said...blah blah blah" game.....

Here ya go. No "alleged". No "innocent until proven guilty". Just.......wire fraud, misuse of campaign funds, and theft. Case closed.

You’re stretching so hard. Impressive, but sad.

My response to you was your purposefully deceitful description of the charges against Gillum as being nothing more than ‘lying to the FBI’. No one said he was ‘guilty’, just what the charges are.

Everyone would see for their own eyes your deceit if you didn’t cut up other posters posts. But alas, it’s your schtick.

 Right. If you REALLY believed your "innocent until proven guilty" nonsense, you wouldn't have been on here talking about the charges at all.

You would have waited for the courts decision an THEN bragged about a Dem's downfall, Petey. Get it?

As for the rest of us who don't have two sets of rules for their politicians? Good riddance yet another money grubbing, corrupt politician.

Nope. Gillum was out there telling the world how “corrupt” Republicans are. If you don’t want karma, don’t ask for it.

So far as his guilt or innocence, I have no call on that. Tallahassee is one of the few leftist redoubts left in Florida. He could easily get himself one juror who simply won’t convict.

He’s also got the limitless cash of the DNC paying his lawyers. So he’s going to bring an impressive arsenal of legal talent to poke holes in the prosecution.

As par for the course now, there are two systems of justice in America. Let’s see how that plays out for Andrew.

His fall from Grace is enough for me tbh. I didn’t care much about him after his first fall, I certainly don’t care now.

I’m more invested in why the DNC would cover his legal bills, and of course your defense of him. Now those two things do fascinate me!

I see how it works in PeteLand. Neat.

So since you've been telling us how corrupt all the Dems are for month.....you fail the PeteRule....and you're guilty of anything you're accused of, Pete? Better watch your back, Pete. You're due for a 5-10 stretch in a Florida penitentiary. And from what you told us, DeSantis is hard on criminals.

But I’ve said he is innocent till proven guilty; heck, I think he’s got a fighting chance to get off scot-free (he’s a Democrat after all)!!

I’m just joyous he’s getting righteous karma, having spent years lying about political opponents. The shame alone has been salving.

Not such great news for your squad today, a fan.

“A political shift is beginning to take hold across the U.S. as tens of thousands of suburban swing voters who helped fuel the Democratic Party’s gains in recent years are becoming Republicans.

More than 1 million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party over the last year, according to voter registration data analyzed by the Associated Press. The previously unreported number reflects a phenomenon that is playing out in virtually every region of the country — Democratic and Republican states along with cities and small towns — in the period since Joe Biden succeeded Donald Trump as president.

Nowhere is the shift more pronounced — and dangerous for Democrats — than in the suburbs, where well-educated swing voters who turned against Trump’s Republican Party in recent years appear to be swinging back. Over the last year, far more people are switching to the GOP across suburban counties in areas such as Denver, Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Republicans also gained ground in counties around medium-size cities such as Harrisburg, Pa.; Raleigh, N.C.; Augusta, Ga.; and Des Moines.”

Rough.

 Oh no! Not MORE tax breaks for me and my family, Pete!

Pete, let me help you yet again. I have to forecast for my business in 10 and 20 year increments. So I have to pay attention to the American Marketplace in a way that others don't. Most CEOs, sadly, think quarterly. But I digress.

Do you know what Baby Boomers are, Pete? There's oh, about 70 million of them.

And these boomers are holding all the money. And naturally, these boomers are passing away. And in the next 20 or so years, they're gonna transfer about 2 Trillion dollars to their kids. Got it?

So what do these young voters do when they inherit all this money that they didn't earn? That's right: move to protect it, and vote for the party that favors the 1%ers over the working class.

So to cut to the chase: you're making my points for me again, and again, and again.

The rich will get richer, and the poor will get poorer. And your 11 point plan? Will make that gap permanent, Pete. Pledging allegiance in 1st grade doesn't put food on the table, Pete.

Speaking of rote inculcation, when will this be overturned?

West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette
"There is nothing more difficult and more dangerous to carry through than initiating changes. One makes enemies of those who prospered under the old order, and only lukewarm support from those who would prosper under the new."

Nope. That's on you. YOU are the one who keeps telling us to vote Republican.

And when I ask you what they will do to help working class Americans, you can't answer the question...outside of cut and paste platitudes.

And the reason you can't tell us how R's will help every day Americans economically, is that it never occurred to you to care abou them.... you have enough wealth, and don't give a fig about your fellow Americans.

And that's fine, obviously..that's your path. Let them eat cake, I guess.
