Baltimore County Public School begin fall sports February 13.

Excited for the student-athletes, coaches, schools. Outdoor sports can be done with proper precautions. It can work.

Good sign for spring season too. Wish those kids could get a little more spring schedule in '21 considering their entire season was cancelled in '20.

Be thankful with what ya get!

Baltimore County Top Publics

2. Hereford
3. Towson
4. Dulaney
5. Perry Hall
6. Franklin
7. Eastern Tech
8. ?

Hear there is an opening for head V boy's coach at Perryville HS.
Good program in Cecil County, 1 Mile off I-95 for those looking for a coaching opportunity this spring!

BCPS going with a 10/12-game spring schedule, April 17-June 19. Playing teams in own pool 2x and a couple games outside of pool. Games will be Tuesdays and Thursdays for the most part. Nice improvement to original plan. It's all about playing, competing, and having fun. Thankful for what ya get. Get as much out of the best time of your life!

And another on the Catonsville Comets, the top team in Baltimore County.

BCPS opens play, finally, tomorrow! Big game on the slate is Hereford vs. Catonsville. Catonsville probably the top team in the pod, followed by Hereford, Towson, and Dulaney. Hope the boys, coaches, and parents enjoy the moment.

Meanwhile, if you don't want to watch the MIAA playoffs...Dulaney travels to Towson today for a 5pm game, in the best rivalry in public school for Baltimore County.

Catonsville continues to reign supreme. Comets steamroll Perry Hall 21-0 and Sparrows Point 14-2. Outscoring opponents 35-2 in first two BCPS games, heading for big week vs. Dulaney on Tuesday, 5/18 and Towson on Thursday, 5/20.

I can see the Bulls going undefeated and hopefully making a run in States.

Comets edge Generals 7-6. Exciting game. Well-played by both teams. Catonsville goalie, Brian Ruppel (Terp-bound) is the difference. What a game changer! Towson face-off kid is the real deal. He won almost all, gave the Gens a lot of possessions, but they just could not solve Ruppel in the cage.

Ruppel is the real deal best goalie in the 2022 class

Indeed. Best I've seen in our area this year, public or private. Towson wins the game by a few if he's not in the cage.

Should be a good one between the Generals and the Bulls on Tuesday, 6/1 at Towson 5pm. Spectators welcome. Wear mask if not vaccinated.
Both teams 5-1 in league. Only loss coming at the hands of a very talented Catonsville team with the best goalie around.
Catonsville 7
Towson 6

Catonsville 10
Hereford 7

Towson - 14
Hereford - 9

Generals run out to 10-2 halftime lead. Finish the job! Towson snaps a 14-game losing streak to Hereford.

Franklin runs by Dulaney 12-6 for a big BCPS win! Lions are struggling this year.

Sounds like the Sev Park-Broadneck game was a barn burner.
SP wins but not before a little tension.

If anyone can post game times and locations for playoffs it would be appreciated.
