Waterloo got drubbed by Livonia-Avon 18-1 today. Their reward is a Thurs trip down to Penn Yan, who beat Livonia-Avon earlier this season, 15-5.

Del Lago has the spread posted at 22.5 only because PY may be good sports and play nice in the second half. 32 probably makes more sense. :P

Penn Yan has unwritten rule you can only score 20 if it’s needed to win. Or you’ve done something to anger

I’m considering traveling to the Victor-Penfield game on Friday. What’s the latest on attending games in person?

19-0 PY. I think they played a few 5th graders in the 4th qtr.

Most districts are allowing up to 500 spectators. Those with "passes" get priority but it hasn't been an issue and I can't imagine anyone has been turned away. Penfield, Pittsford, WT, WS, and Canandaigua are definitely operating this way.

Early in 3rd quarter Coach Hobart looked over to Waterloo coach and said “we’re done “

Masks or no masks for the vax community?

Masks when you enter school grounds. Doubt you'd get hassled if you pull it down when seated.

The reward for Victor is that fans who don't attend live have to listen to the CA radio broadcaster ramble on in a stream of conscientious, babbling on about what...I am sure no one knows. It is like listening to Brother Wease announcing the numbers at a Quik Draw lottery draw at a corner bar at 2:00 p.m. on a Tuesday.

Class B is a dogfight. Thomas beats Canandaigua. Victor beats Thomas. Canandaigua beats Victor. Will be interesting to see who ends up on top.

Don't forget Spencerport sitting at 12-1. They're not east side royalty but they possibly could muck up the seeding procedure.

Good point. I was thinking about Penfield rounding out the top 4. I forgot about the Rangers. They certainly seem to put a bunch of balls in the net.

Penfield probably wishes they were in A this year. Their three losses this year - Vic, WT, Cdga. 5+ goal spread in each. They did beat Spencerport 12-8 last week.

Seems like the Class ranking needs a little flexibility or modification. I understand it is apples and oranges when comparing Section V to other mega districts down state but having only 5 teams in class A is a little skewed. Even if you just dropped it down to 1000 that would push Victor, Schroeder and Gates Chili up. At least year, its not as if Schroeder and Gates Chili are any better off playing against "smaller" schools in class B competition wise
