I’d like to see RS play Paul VI.

Oakton 14, Langley 10, refs +6 (in favor of the Saxons).

Oakton had two opponents tonight. Lucky to pull it out.

RS played PVI twice in VEL league for what that is worth

Well, we have learned not to weight VEL results that heavily. RS is the best VA public I have ever seen - although I did not Robo during their glory years.

I'm going to guess you never saw the old Robinson, Madison or Oakton teams go toe to toe with Landon and Georgetown Prep back in the day. Sorry, but Riverside wouldn't hold a candle to those teams. Best public school team out of this area in a while was the undefeated Chantilly team that went 20-0 in 2008 I think. Played tough competition all year long and not sisters of the poor every other day like Riverside does. Once they start playing teams that rough them up a little bit and actually cause some weakening, then we can talk about them be up there.

LOL. It’s high school lacrosse, boys. Not life and death.

I’m just glad they are playing after the debacle that was 2020.

Madison and Oakton have not gone toe to toe with those schools since way back when they combined and played as Vienna YC. Riverside has a chance to be the most dominant in a long time as they can only play a limited schedule. I will saw BW has really fallen off

Is Freedom 6A? I still think they would not win 5A as Riverside is better than any 6A. I would rank:

1. Riverside
2. Riverside back ups
3. Riverside JV
4. Riverside Glax
5-10: Robinson, Yorktown, Patriot, Battlefield, Madison, Freedom

Hard to see how Briar Woods and Stonebridge are not competitive this year to help the 5A race. Kudos to Freedom for the win over JC as they must have lost the most to PVI with the school just down the road. Not as many BW or SB kids leaving for PVI.

Hahahaha. I guess the 5-10s shouldn't take that personally. Is Riverside the best high school lacrosse team ever? I will say that I believe Yorktown could beat the Riverside Glax team.
