Back from watching the big girls play.

Got a chance to watch part of the game on tape.

No "Wow" here.

Lacrosse is a team sport, not an individual sport.

Like I said, injuries happen. Teams need to prepare for that. HS lax shouldn't even keep in-season stats and parents should never coach HS teams.

Some good schooling/genetics on that East Chapel Hill team.

A good detective would investigate and see that ranking HS teams is a bad idea...

NC Girls state playoffs start this week. Will it be Charlotte Catholic's year? Or will Gibbons or East Chapel Hill spoil the party?

Definitely some strange state playoff seedings. Seems teams were rewarded for playing cupcake schedules during the regular season. Also, conference foes shouldn't meet this early in the tournament - Charlotte Catholic and Myers Park in the 3rd round...

It should come as no surprise that the two Catholic schools which can draw from anywhere will be competing for the PUBLIC state championship this weekend. Should be playing in the private school league...
