Not really rankings. Teams under consideration, in alphabetical order.

They are actually ranked within the committees, but DII has chosen to publish them in alphabetical order until the last published one (next Wednesday).

My guessed order would be:

North - Le Moyne, Seton Hill, Mercyhurst, Mercy, Saint Anselm, Adelphi, Chestnut Hill

South - Tampa, LR, Indy, Mount Olive, Wingate, Limestone, Belmont Abbey

In the South, I would have Wingate before UIndy or Mount Olive, but what do I know...?

I would also have Wingate ahead of MO and Indy and would have Tampa after LR

I agree with Reds North pick order

If you click on the tap below the lists “South” it shows the order:
LR, Wingate, Tampa, UIndy, UMO, BAC, & Stone - if I’m reading it correctly?

That depends on how you weigh the various criteria in that pdf - which does NOT contain all the criteria, such as head-to-head results.

You may be looking at the RPI column, which is only one of the actual criteria. It is NOT the entire story.

That's just showing their RPI rank in the region.

Thank you. Makes sense. So then can I ask why rank Tampa so high - above LR and Wingate - FS and Lynn only ranked teams they have played and they have only played 6 games. What else are you factoring in? Just trying to understand the selection process because I lean more toward the RPI order.

I posted this in another thread:

From last year's manual the criteria used:
Section 2•5 Selection Criteria Required Selection Criteria.

The following required criteria shall be employed by a governing sports committee in selecting participants for NCAA championships competition [Bylaw 31.3.3; Criteria for Selection of Participants]:
●Availability of student-athletes.
● Application of nullification.
●Division II in-region winning percentage.
●Division II winning percentage.
●Division II strength of schedule (opponents’ average winning percentage and opponents’ opponents’ average winning percentage).
●Division II head-to-head competition.
●Results versus Division II common opponents.

Sport-Specific Selection Criteria:
●Division II results versus teams with a winning record.
●In-region strength of schedule (opponents’ average winning percentage and opponents’ opponents’ average winning percentage).
●In-region Ratings Percentage Index (RPI).

Additionally, input is provided by regional advisory committees for consideration by the Division II Men’s Lacrosse Committee. A Division II governing sports committee must contact a regional advisory committee before making its final selection of teams if the committee selection differs from the regional advisory committee’s. Coaches’ polls and/or any other outside polls or rankings are not used by the Division II Men’s Lacrosse Committee for selection purposes. All Division II games, including provisional and conference tournament games, will be used for selections.
All criteria are in some sense equal.
