Rutgers 2024

Post by 1766 »

Time to get this started. After a historic year for the program in 22, it's time to turn the page. It's hard to evaluate the program until all of the portal dust settles so will hold off for now. Congratulations to incoming Boy's Latin goalie Cardin Stoller on being name UA All American. You'd have to think that position is wide open, the potential incoming transfer notwithstanding.

That's the whispers. Nothing yet from either camp officially as far as I know.

I do know of at least one other transfer that hasn't been announced. There are a couple in play that would be huge pick ups for whoever gets them.

1766, can you give us a projected lineup based on holdovers and confirmed transfers?

Transfer announcements should come from the players themselves. I think it is fair. There are two that I know of and more in play. I think that market is very fluid though. Maryland seems very active too.

As to holdovers, there are some with one more year of eligibility. Some have decided to come back while others are weighing options, jobs specifically. That should all be known/announced soon I am guessing.

Sorry to be so vague but I learned a lesson last year. Sharing too much information isn't always the right thing to do.

It's interesting to Rutgers fans and people who follow the transfer market. If it's not to you, which deep down we all know it is, then don't feel the need to respond.

Don't worry, there are more on the way ;)

Oh wow another a*hole comment from Lorin. Apparently RU beating Army was the single worst thing to happen to him in his life.

Lorin, there's something seriously wrong with you bud, do you see a therapist? I'd recommend you do. You're really embarrassing yourself at this point.

Four 4 stars, twice as many as army.

Hey why don’t you spend any time in the army forum? Oh, that’s cause they’re irrelevant. Got it.

Joe Neuman was a 5 star so the answer is yes.

This lorin simp must be a blast at parties. I always root for every academy when they are playing anyone but Rutgers, but this character is making Army tough to like. Wonder who he's going to blame when we win at Michie in 23.

Neumann is a huge get. With him and decker, that rope unit is going to continue to excel. Don’t know if he’s in the portal but would love Comizio of Nova to come home and play at RU!

Neuman is a fogo. Decker is a ssdm. Looks like the Knights have another ssdm that I don't see listed here as being in the portal.

neuman hasn't lived up to billing but he gets a reboot and at a minimum provides depth.

another nardello, if they find him, might have them challenging with the right personnel.

Another Nardella would be hard to find. If he was in the program now we'd probably have won a national championship. He was that good.

On the portal front, you can add Harvard goalie Mullin to the Rutgers roster.
