The one thing that sturck me most of this post was "...it's library." LOL
Imagine anyone of basic education thinking that Cornell has a singlular library.
It apparently hit right wing media 4 days ago, just in time for CU to have to address over the July 4 weekend (can you imagine the pain in the neck with most folks off for the weekend?)...https://nypost.com/2022/06/29/cornell-r ... m-library/

On its face, looked rather silly to me.

They definitely haven't done anything remotely like SMAIN's claim.
Thanks, I should have guessed the NY Post...
Yes if it was the NY Times of course its true.
Well, the NYT of course makes errors. But unlike the NY Post, the Times doesn’t simply regurgitate Breitbart without doing further research.
Talking to a “fake news” person there. He won’t believe you.

How many libraries does Cornell have on its campus? I’ve been on the campus probably 50x in my life including tours but never really paid attention as it was never a need.

I agree with you on the bar selection, no matter the locale, and did not take your response to my library comment as "hostile". I was a "townie" and worked in a couple of the libraries on campus before college years, so I knew some of them quite well.

I would have taken the under on 20; 21 is impressive.

I'm not sure if this is a highly compelling activity, but the Ivy League Twitter account is running a Game of the Year contest. Cornell men's lacrosse vs Rutgers is a candidate. There will be a vote on Twitter soon on the Ivy League account for the first round where you can vote for the Big Red.

Jeff Teat and Clarke Petterson both played extremely well for Canada in the World Games Sixes. Petterson scored a goal without his helmet. Teat had a diving, no look behind the back goal.

And, on the replay, it was one-handed...

I only saw the last few minutes of last night’s Under Armour AA game, but based on the stats our two incoming recruits acquitted themselves well. Jack Cascadden went 11 for 22 on faceoffs, which is respectable considering he was going against the other top rated FOGOs in the class. And to top it off he added a goal and an assist. Defenseman Brendan Staub tied for the team lead with 5 ground balls and had 1 caused turnover.

Hmmm, in 2022 no team went better than 4-2 in regular-season Ivy play; in 2023, Cornell will be away to Yale, Harvard and Brown... so preseason prediction #5 is pretty much a lock!
