Maryland thuggery, huh? How about the kid that did a slide tackle on Weirman in the fourth quarter? Or the Stupid penalty when Shellenger runs into the defenders arm? the refs are defintely letting them play but I have seen PLENTY from Virginia that wasn't exactly classy play.

:D Princeton will shock the lax world next week!

Very disappointing that the only team capable of giving Maryland a decent game (according to the pundits) would have a showing like this (twice). When/where is the parade?

A head butt. Classy. Let em play! Youre the best team. Act like it… in my opinion.

It would have been closer. ND played Maryland the closest during the regular season and have the best goalie in the league.

Wow — I thought that a healthier UVA seeing Maryland the second time around would lead to a close game (although still thought UMD would win). Just total dominance from the Terps.

At this point maybe the background noise about the selection committee will die down. This year’s tournament has a pre-ordained quality.

Congrats to UVA as their championship reign comes to an end. They are in a small circle of teams that have great coaching, great recruiting, and are highly attractive to grad transfers so until the “free agency era” ends after the 2024 season, I think we’ll have to pay attention to the “hot stove league” and off-season portal moves to get a sense of the 2023 favorites.

Agree. Notre Dame deserved in but they would’ve lost too. MD will roll. Rooting for remaining Ivys but it’s a big ask. Peace out ACC.

This was no more competitive than the first blowout. Other than Conner, there were few bright spots fir the losers.

I dunno. I mean...ND got smoked by G'town and OSU, two teams that didn't even make it out of the first round, and lost handily to this same Virginia team.

No real indication they would have had much of a chance against Maryland.

Act II of the four-act play, Coronation of the King, is now complete.

A noteworthy feature of the play is that the Acts can be played in any order.

Well there goes the narrative that was the national title game and ND could have beaten Maryland.

The committee got it right.
