Maryland 2021
Re: Maryland 2021
PLL Draft see Grill drafted by the Whipsnakes adding to that Terps to Whipsnakes pipeline. Bernhardt was also drafted late by Chaos
Re: Maryland 2021
Logan Wisnauskas (4G, 1A, 3GB) B1G Offensive Player of the Week
John Geppert (6GB, 3CTO) B1G Defensive Player of the Week
Thought Geppert had a really good game. The game before he was suffering from cramps late in the game

I would say Logan not getting drafted last night gives a good inclination maybe he is leaning towards coming back. I would imagine PLL teams inquired with Tills about Logan's plans for another year? He definitely was good enough to be drafted IMO, had he let teams know he is available. Maybe wishful thinking. Same with Bubba - but not sure would have been drafted either way however.

Re: Maryland 2021
So Hopkins always plays Maryland tough. From 2018 to this year, Maryland was 1-3 against Hopkins, with the one win being a tight 8-7 win. Rivalry games as people always say, you throw out the record. And Hop at this point is playing for their lives.
So this being a tight game shouldn't have surprised anyone. Now though, people are almost disregarding the other 9 games the Terps have played, and basing their opinion on the team on this one rivalry game. Which is fine - underestimate how good this team is, everyone. Just more motivation for the Terps to come out and play in the tournament the way we know they can.

Bubba would have been drafted because of his athleticism and ability to play both ways. Re: Maryland 2021
Maybe. But regardless either way - has to be an encouraging sign.
Re: Maryland 2021
Maybe. I don’t think anyone who had eligibility left was in the draft; probably keeping their options open. So probably no decision made yet either way by Logan or DeMaio or Bubba.
I’d give Bubba a better shot than Logan and DeMaio just because he’s only been in school 4 years as compared to 5 for the former two. 6 years is a long time. But if they want one more crack at it; I’d love it!

Surprised that Makar was not dpoy. Grill is great too though and earned his accolades, I just think Makar is at the level of national dpoy.AreaLax wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:29 pm Big Ten honors

Terps to play Michigan Thursday at 5
Re: Maryland 2021
Will the Wolverines give them a game?
Re: Maryland 2021
Michigan had some nice flashes a couple weeks back before and after the Terps just pummeling them in the middle of the game with that 16-0 run. Michigan's playing well and they've got some real talent on offense. I wouldn't be shocked if they kept it within touching distance a bit cause they can score, but don't think they have any answers for the Terps offense.

Trader was select the Under Armour All-American game for July 31. Wonder if will be able to play because of football

Some great insights from postgame Zoom w/ the Terps:
-Bernhardt on his career: "I've lost more championships or big games than I've won here"
-Puglise on Bernhardt: "That may have been the quietest 8 and 2 ever."
-Tillman proud of Shockey's resiliency, knows Rowlett well
Seemed like we had a lot of pipes
Holden had lots of run on second midfield today.

Sowers is excellent. Gray is even better; he's great. Bernhardt is just on another inexplicable level. He went from great athlete who plays lacrosse at an extremely high level to historically great lacrosse player.AreaLax wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 8:02 pm IL Twitter

i am waiting to see if someone shuts him off. it's time. waiting to see if he gets 6 points or 10 seems like a not so bold strategy, cotton, let's see if it pays off for them.keno in reno wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 9:39 pmSowers is excellent. Re: Maryland 2021
Could you even do it effectively with how fast he is? And the side advantage as well. He’s just too good an athlete.wgdsr wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 1:05 pmi am waiting to see if someone shuts him off. it's time. waiting to see if he gets 6 points or 10 seems like a not so bold strategy, cotton, let's see if it pays off for them.keno in reno wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 9:39 pmSowers is excellent.
