Re: Rutgers 2024
Ross Scott crossed a big milestone. 100 goals scored puts him in an elite class of lacrosse player. Kudos to him for such an accomplishment. Danny Maltz just passed that milestone too. Without digging, do you know how many Terps have reached this level? At Rutgers, Ross Scott was only the 11th pers...

Shane Knobloch has to be close to 100 as well. I would guess he's within 10-15. Very impressive for a midfielder. ...

Re: NIL and Lacrosse
Title 9 makes adding men's lacrosse a real challenge at most universities. The game's growth is outpacing the growth at the college level.

Re: NIL and Lacrosse
If fannies in seats is the goal, the powers that be would be smart to push the season back. It's no fun watching lacrosse in the northeast with snowbanks on the sides of the field in 20 degree weather. Rutgers averages 3K fans plus when the weather is warm. It's a lot less when it isn't. I'm sure th...

Re: NIL and Lacrosse
NIL and lacrosse is going to be a funny game. The direction the sport is going as it relates to NIL is going to exclude a large swath of schools being competitive. Enterprising supporters with funds to burn can essentially stockpile talent, scholarship limits be damned. NIL is has very little to act...

Re: Rutgers 2024
I guess that's possible. The reason i mentioned Hopkins , Maryland and PSU is they are all still in the top ten and would increase our RPI the most. Personally, I don't think Rutgers has a chance this year as they already lost to the only ranked teams in out of conference, and quite convincingly. T...

Re: Rutgers 2024
There has been an absence of interest this season from Rutgers supporters. I am interested in the opinion of other supporters that may know what is going on within the program. I have an opinion on the entire Lacrosse world perspective and will share it. With the results so far and with 6-7 games i...

This is fake news. More 4* HS recruited athletes on the roster today than at any point.

Re: Rutgers 2024
Big one this weekend with Princeton coming to SHI Stadium. Most interested to see how the Knights play Princeton's attack. Young, but everything starts with them. I wouldn't be surprised to see a high scoring affair. Weather looks reasonably warm with some rain possible. Some murmurs about some of t...

I would put Colin Kurdyla on the list. He's a handful in his first year.

Yes, I've been a "supposed" coach, for 20 years. At every level. And I do it 7 days a week. We're talking lax and you're talking "elitist?" What's that mean in a lacrosse context? Very odd. All my years, and I've never heard that one. Please list which college teams you truly th...

Re: Big Ten 2024
If Maryland can knockoff ND tomorrow it will be a big for the conference game RPI's. Every Acc team lost the last game they've played. I'm not sure that's ever happened before.

Re: PLL 2024 Draft
I 100% agree with Knobloch. EXTREMELY underrated and your comment about his ability to shoot on the run is spot on. I don't see many of his goals via spot up shooting. Dobson is the exact opposite but when he is on, he is tough to stop. Will be a solid pro. Angelus is very good. There is still some...

Re: Predict The Next DI Programs To Get Lacrosse-Only Stadiums
Rutgers. Board approval and fund raising has already started. Nice. Considering PSU, The OSU and Michigan, the Big 10 is definitely doing right by lacrosse. Hoping a few more lax teams get natural grass. It's going to be turf for the new Rutgers stadium. It's just too hard to keep natural grass pla...

Re: 2024 top 20
Army and Rutgers have had a home and home series for I believe 84 years, lately exclusively in Feb. Army would not mind playing Syracuse in WP in Feb. In fact, I'd bet good money they'd welcome it. Syracuse needs to leave the Dome once in awhile.

Re: Big Ten 2024
Mid week games are always a crapshoot. Clearly Michigan didn't play well but the idea is just get out with a win. Mission accomplished. Obvious things to work on defensively, which they appeared to clean up some towards the end of the game. I get the players are quicker and stronger than ever but it...
