Re: Georgetown 2021
Haley, Hess, and Petkevich have been amazing additions. Petkevich wasn't one of the marquee players in the portal but he's fit in perfectly. And the freshmen have been terrific. Amazing job by the coaching staff to bring in the right players for the team.

Re: Georgetown 2021
Hoyas pick up midfielder Patrick Crogan (Lexington/Laxachusetts), the number 59 player in the class of 2022 according to National Lacrosse Federation. Really made a leap this summer and makes a number plays in a number of ways. I think he has the athleticism and tenacity to be a nice college dmid a...

5 star mid: From IL's Five-Star 2022's: "Breaking out as a middie that top DI programs are dying to have, Wray steadily improved as the summer progressed. He's a converted attackman who is a slasher with the rock, getting quality shots off effortlessly and creating offense in a number of ways.&...

13 in the way too early ranking. I think we aren't getting enough respect. I like it that way.

Re: Georgetown 2021
Brendan Voelker isn't on the inside lacrosse freshman commits but is on the roster. His father is head coach at Drexel. Nice surprise.

Re: Haudenosaunee 2022
It looks like it's now official, and the Iroquois Nationals will be included in The World Games in Birmingham, AL in 2022. Is this real lacrosse or that new version? New version I believe. The Natives could clean up with those rules and their stick skills. Are USA and Canada sure they want them in ...

Re: Transfer Portal
 Wonder if he’s related to Mafee who used to work for Axe Capital and know works for Taylor Mason Capital? Highly likely. A lot of lacrosse guys go into asset management. I'd put the likelihood at 90-95%. I was kidding, should’ve posted a link. There’s a guy named Dudley Mafee who played lac...

Re: Georgetown 2021
As expected, only 3 5th years. Carraway, Bean, and Petkevich. Very nice balance in the classes number-wise. This could be a really great team and I think the coaching staff did the right thing by not bringing in a ton of 5th year guys.

Re: Haudenosaunee 2022
Well then why would purists care at all if they participate? It's not even about lacrosse, though lacrosse is the catalyst. They should be able to field a swimming and diving team if they want. That there is a game called "lacrosse" and that they cannot represent themselves in said game i...

From Quint Kessenich on the National High School Lacrosse Showcase (2021 recruit): "I thought the work that goalie Michael Scharfenberger (Georgetown) did outside of the crease — scooping groundballs and throwing aggressive and accurate clearing passes — was notable." https://www.insidelac...

Re: Georgetown 2020
Hoyas have 4 incoming UA All Americans. Congratulations to the staff and these boys! Let’s go Hoyas! Pretty impressive and another reminder that bringing in a lot of 5th year guys could have disrupted a great long-term recruiting plan. https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/Announcingthe2020UnderAr...

Re: Haudenosaunee 2022
I imagine the best of the Iroquois players could try out for the US or Canadian team, depending upon where they live. Wa-Tho-Huk won some gold medals for the US, a while back. The Iroquois could still put together their own team for tournaments like Lake Placid. It isn't about individuals playing i...
